Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸 Today, as we in the United States celebrate the birth of our nation and the freedom we cherish as Americans, let us also remember that our true freedom comes from Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. In John 8:36, Jesus declares, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." When Jesus spoke these words, He was addressing those who believed in Him. He was inviting them—and us—to embrace a life of true freedom, not just from earthly constraints, but from the eternal consequences of sin. This freedom goes beyond external circumstances or societal norms. It is a deep, inner freedom that comes from knowing we are loved, accepted, and forgiven by our Heavenly Father. It is a freedom that empowers us to live with purpose, joy, and authenticity, pursuing God's purpose for our lives, loving and serving others selflessly, and experiencing the abundant life Jesus promised. Today, as citizens of both the United States and heaven (Philippians 3:20), let's pause to appreciate this precious gift. May we exemplify the beauty of living in a nation that upholds religious freedom, while keeping our hearts fixed on our eternal citizenship in Christ. Let's also celebrate the freedom we have in Jesus and commit ourselves to living as true disciples, embracing the fullness of life that comes from being "free indeed." #IndependenceDay #4thOfJuly

🙋🙋♀️: Happy Independence Day beloved!!! Reflection: Independence Day is a significant occasion that celebrates freedom and the birth of a nation. As we reflect on this day, it is essential to consider the biblical perspective on freedom and independence. Galatians 5:1 declares, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free," highlighting the spiritual freedom that believers have through Christ. This freedom transcends political boundaries, offering liberation from sin and bondage. The biblical concept of freedom is deeply rooted in the Old Testament. In Exodus 14:13-14, God delivers the Israelites from Egyptian slavery, symbolizing His power to liberate His people. This historical event parallels the celebration of Independence Day, reminding us that true freedom is a gift from God. In the New Testament, Jesus' ministry emphasizes freedom from spiritual oppression. In John 8:36, Jesus says, "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." This statement underscores the profound truth that spiritual independence, offered through Jesus, is the ultimate form of liberty. As we celebrate Independence Day, let us remember the source of our freedom. While we honor the sacrifices made for national independence, we should also celebrate the freedom we have in Christ. This dual celebration encourages us to live in gratitude and righteousness, acknowledging that our spiritual and physical freedoms are intertwined and divinely ordained. Embracing this understanding, we can truly appreciate the depth and breadth of the liberty we enjoy. ALL NATIONS, NOT SOME! Is the Gospel of the Kingdom a message for only some nations, or is it Good News for all nations and peoples of the Earth? Often in church history, the Gospel has been perverted into Good News for some nations, and bad news for others, or at least for the latter group, a less appealing message. This twist occurs whenever representatives of the church of the same Jesus who gave his life for the entire world, including his “enemies,” associate and even identify his name and ONE message for the world with specific nations, races, cultures, and even political ideologies. After his resurrection, Jesus declared: “All authority in heaven and on Earth is given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of ALL nations.” Installed as the Sovereign over the entire Cosmos, he dispatched his envoys to proclaim his sovereignty and salvation to all men in every nation, whether Jew or Gentile, rich or poor, or male and female, even “to the uttermost parts of the Earth” - (Psalm 2:6-10, Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:7-9). Through his sacrificial death, the Nazarene established the promised “priestly kingdom” of men and women from every nation, a body of believers dedicated exclusively to his service and Gospel mission. Warning signs of the end times: Today, individualism has progressed tremendously and the idea that the other is not a potential friend but a potential danger is more and more marked. In Haiti, everyone calls themselves Christian, but the question we ask ourselves is: how many really follow Christ? Most of our Christians do not follow Christ, but instead ask Christ to be disciplined enough to follow them in their whims. Christians today follow themselves; they follow their self, their desires and their will. Today we are witnessing the cooling of love as Christ warned. The Lord's Church has grown terribly cold. Sin reigns supreme in the lives of believers. Who among us does not have his little sin tolerable? Who among us doesn't have our own little sin that's understandable? Who among us does not apologize to ourselves for our few tolerable compromises? Will Christ when he returns find us awake or asleep in our sinful habits and behavior? What most characterizes Christians today? Since the rise of CHRIST to the Father, there have been several waves of Christians, starting with those of the primitive church. Over the years, the evolution of morals and the scourge of globalization, many things have changed and Christians today have changed a lot. Fear is a rare commodity in the hearts of Christians these days. God seems so distant and now neglected that many fearlessly allow themselves to live as they want, not caring about the seriousness of their actions.

In a world where the hustle for success often overshadows our greater purpose, it's paramount to remember the deeper calling that transcends mere survival. 📖🙏 Acts 20:24 profoundly reminds us that our lives hold no value unless they are committed to fulfilling the ministry we've received from the Lord. Whether we're pastors, bankers, or bricklayers, we’re all called to advance others' faith and holiness. 🏗️💼 📜 Ministry is diverse, reflecting the varied lives of Christians worldwide. It’s not confined to titles like elder or deacon; it’s a way of life dedicated to uplifting Christ and serving others. 🌍❤️ Here are three essential takeaways for embodying this lifestyle: 1. **Prioritize Ministry Over Life:** The ultimate conviction comes from realizing that our ministry is more pressing than mere existence. Paul’s words in Acts 20:24 resonate strongly; our devotion defines true purpose. ⛪👣 2. **Lose Your Life to Fulfill Ministry:** Our journey might not always be about preserving our lifespan to serve. Sometimes, the manner in which we sacrifice our lives becomes the pinnacle of our ministry. Reflect on Jesus' life, concluding in his thirties with a monumental legacy. ✝️💫 3. **Trust in Divine Timing:** Henry Martyn confidently said, “If [God] has work for me to do, I cannot die.” This underscores the belief that our mortal lives are safeguarded until our God-appointed task is complete. Immortal in purpose, we serve until our mission is divinely fulfilled. ⏳✨ Embrace your ministry with unwavering faith, for God alone determines the crescendo of our service. Let’s commit to making every act a testament to our greater calling. #FaithInAction #ChristianLeadership #PurposeDrivenLife https://lnkd.in/emdgfXDV

The untold story of Christmas Absolutely, the story of Christmas indeed represents the intersection of the extraordinary and the ordinary. At its core, Christmas commemorates the extraordinary event of the birth of Jesus Christ, whom Christians believe to be the Son of God and the Savior. This miraculous birth is a central and profound moment in Christian theology. However, what makes the Christmas story resonate with people across cultures and beliefs is the portrayal of this extraordinary event within the context of ordinary, humble surroundings. Jesus was born not in a palace, but in a humble stable in Bethlehem. The central characters in the story include Mary and Joseph, ordinary people chosen to play key roles in this divine narrative. The juxtaposition of the divine and the ordinary underscores the universal theme of hope and redemption in the face of the mundane challenges of life. It speaks to the idea that profound and transformative events can occur in the midst of everyday life, offering a message of joy, peace, and goodwill to all. In essence, the Christmas story serves as a powerful reminder that even in the midst of the ordinary, there can be moments of extraordinary significance and grace..

an opinion that has become an matter in our lives, Many years ago, an professor of St. Louis University wrote several articles on the role of the Catholic Church vs a secular society, Dr. Hitchcock, an history and religious educator , 1980.I had the oppirtunity to both read and digest the importance of the article s the main issue is that there. is a competition between the role of the Catholic Church. vs an changing secular society, the importance of Catholic Church Teachings toward an secular society, ie a good example is that on the same day of the Celebration of Easter, the resurrcetion of our Lord Jesus Christ, a secular group is declaring an Transpersance Day, the recognition of secular lifestyles and values. Is it ironic , or coinincidencdental, to choose the same day, or is it the growing secularis of society vs the Catholic Church Teachings. If you recall, we lived in an time period whereby, Religious Holy Days were Holidays, there were no secular or as in ancient time, pagan worship. Has society overall moved away from the adherence of Catholic Teachings toward recognition of secular holidays,as the above, or is it competion .Ultimately, it is our choice, but it is allowing more darkness in our lives, than the necessary Light of all Religious Holy Days called too Holidays.. out of darkness Light, Israel , Light of all nations.

Five specific ways in which the Holy Spirit helps us: First, He teaches us. Second, He brings to our remembrance things we otherwise could not remember accurately. Third, He guides us into all truth. Fourth, He discloses what is to come. Fifth, He discloses to us all that belongs to Christ and therefore to us, because we share the inheritance with Christ. #derekprince #HolySpirit

🤔🤔 Daily Musings 🤭🤭 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. – Philippians 4:13 It is not uncommon in human experience to run up against things that are bigger than we are, that we simply cannot overcome in our own strength. It is also not uncommon to try to grit our teeth, hunch our backs, and seek to make it through by sheer determination. We tell ourselves we can overcome if we try hard enough. Isn’t that what being a good Christian means? Yet here is mighty apostle Paul admitting that his strength does not come from himself, or from his won willpower. He is not trying to do it on his own. Rather, he is looking to Jesus Christ for the power and deliverance he needs. •How can you make it through this trial? Through Christ. •How can you overcome that temptation or addiction? Through Christ. •How can you rise above your grief or depression? Through Christ. There is nothing that you cannot do through the strength that Christ has promised to you. Turn to Him, beloved, and find for yourself the confidence, the joy, the strength that Paul found through Christ. Prayer: Thank you Lord, that through the strength you provide, I can do all things you want me to do. Think about it. #weareicgc #icgcedentemple #musings #raphaellangdon #TheBodyOfChrist #TheGospelOfChrist #YearOfGod #June2024 Credit: ICGC Worldwide 2018

Philippians 2:3-8 "3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross." Our careers and business pursuits are no excuse for direct violation of God's will for our lives. Contrary to a culture who tells us that we "deserve better" or "it's nothing personal, it's just business", we're instructed to view others as better than ourselves. We're to do nothing in pursuit of our own selfishness and empty glory; to not merely look out for our own interests, but also the interests of others. I know I've not lived up to this. It's a tall order to fill. American individualism and self-centered views of the American Dream have blinded us into sheer paganism. We must repent and embrace the Gospel. Let us look to Christ for our example! Happy Lord's day, friends! #jesusisking #lovethelord #christianliving #purposefullife #obedience

Good morning of joy dearly beloved. Let us now continue with Discovery of salvation going through Galatians. THE GOSPEL IS FREEDOM - GALATIANS 1:1-24 PART 1 a. You are freed from sin, guilt, shame, addiction and death. b. You are also set free from justification by works of the law. c. You do not have to be circumcised. d. You do not first have to become a Jew before you can become a proper believer in Christ Jesus . Paul’s passionate indignation in this letter is explained by the fact that the freedom of the Gospel was at stake. In his early travels, he had planted a series of Churches in the Roman province of Galatia. He'd told them about this Jesus who sets us free. They had experienced this freedom. A few years later some religious leaders had come along questioning Paul’s views and authority and trying to introduce rules and regulations that would have taken away the new-found freedom of the Galatians. They were saying it was not enough to put your faith in Jesus. You had to be circumcised as well. They were drawing the boundaries of what it meant to be a true Christian far too restrictively. Some today try to draw these kinds of boundaries. They say it is not enough to be a Christian. You need to be ‘like us’. You need to be ‘evangelical’ or ‘Catholic’ or ‘Pentecostal’ – you have to be like us, whatever we are. You have to be a particular type of Christian to be a proper Christian. But faith in Jesus is enough. You do not need to add to it by circumcision or by any other brand. Accept one another on the basis of faith in Jesus, rather than the type of Christian. PRAYER 1. LORD, let every human obstacle that have prevented me from Your salvation be removed. 2. Let the restrictions that stand on the way of people You chose to save exposed that they might know You the only true God and Jesus Christ.
