We partner with agencies nationwide to ensure local bridges are safe and dependable for generations to come. The Vermont Agency of Transportation selected us as the Prime Consultant for Phase 1 design services to rehabilitate nine bridge structures along the Green Mountain Railroad in southern Vermont. Throughout the project, we will look to minimize impacts on rail operations and local cultural or environmental factors. This includes examining innovative bridge replacement options and Accelerated Bridge Construction techniques to reduce onsite construction while considering ease of maintenance and the region’s extreme weather. Passenger rail in Santa Cruz County Summer 2024: The first round of conceptual plans are expected, including possible train vehicle types. Fall 2024: Refined plans are expected, including possible locations for stations and maintenance facilities. Winter 2025: A draft concept report with preliminary cost estimates and environmental review is expected. A 2020 report estimated a $478 million price tag for construction of a commuter rail line.

Construction on the next phase could start as early as 2024 and if all timelines are met, the full loop could open to traffic in 2028.

On the endless highway of road construction, Interstate 95 and the Main Street bridge will be getting their turn in the next five-year wave of billions of dollars in state transportation dollars for Northeast Florida. The state Department of Transportation's tentative five-year work program for Northeast Florida shows nearly $1.37 billion for road construction on I-95 through 2029. Most of that money will go toward widening I-95 through the Southside of Jacksonville and northern St. Johns County toward the end of the decade. This video presents history and the future expansion plans for the #TTC #Toronto Subway. The plan involves significant projects, including the #Ontario Line, Yonge North Extension, various segments of the Eglinton line, as well as the Scarborough Extension. Over 40 kilometers of tunnels and LRT lines are scheduled for construction between 2020 and 2030. As this extensive construction intersects with existing underground #tunnels, structures, and the complex urban environment, the importance of monitoring ground behavior becomes paramount. We performed overall Corridor #ConstructionManagement, including overseeing contracts and scheduling for about 20 projects, many concurrent. JEFFERSON CITY /07/10/2024 /MODOT -- Commission approved the FY 2025-2029 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (#STIP), which lists transportation projects planned by state and regional planning agencies from July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2029. The five-year program is the largest to date and includes additional funding from General Revenue; passed by the Missouri General Assembly and signed by Gov. Mike Parson. #Funding is allocated for the improvement of interstates 70 and 44, the fixing of low-volume minor roads, and improvements to #bridges, #airports, and #rail crossings. The STIP makes available $14.6 billion of federal and state revenues for all modes of transportation over the next five years. Of the $14.6 billion, the STIP details $10.7 billion in road and bridge construction contractor awards, averaging approximately $2.1 billion per year. “The available state road and bridge funds along with the work of the General Assembly and Gov. Parson continue to result in historic investments in transportation infrastructure that benefit Missourians across the state,” said Missouri Department of Transportation Director Patrick McKenna. “We thank our regional planning partners who helped develop this plan. Delivering this high level of investment in projects is only possible because of the partnership between the MoDOT team and the private sector in design engineering and construction contractors. We are asking the public to work with us and slow down to protect the workers in work zones.” The STIP details maintenance improvements to Missouri’s 33,811 miles of roads and 10,392 bridges and culverts.
