"Kids are the most important part of our society. We know that they are going to grow up to be the people that lead our nation, and it is very important that we are ensuring that the way that we are developing and the way that we are providing education to students in the public education sphere is designed in a way that enables them to grow to be their best selves."

Civic education in the United States faces a critical juncture, lacking a unified approach within the entire educational system. The integration of civic education is inconsistent, reflecting the need for a standardized national curriculum on US civics that fosters understanding of civic duties, responsibilities, and rights, all crucial for nurturing well-informed and participative citizens. MPA Alejandro Ramos explores this gap in American education and makes recommendations for implementing a comprehensive civic education curriculum, emphasizing the imperative for informed citizenship. Enrollment in U.S. Catholic elementary and secondary schools increased by 3.8% in 2021-22, according to data from the National Catholic Educational Association. This is the first time in 20 years that enrollment has increased and can be attributed to the leadership Catholic schools showed in returning to in-person learning a full year before many public schools. However, to ensure this growth is enduring, we must focus on what makes our schools unique, while removing barriers to accessibility. Despite a decades-long decline in Catholic schools and students, they remain critical to the broader ministry of the church. Do we still need Catholic schools? Absolutely. They are a proven way to help 21st-century children succeed. Here are few pics from my neighborhood school of Don Bosco:

P.S. BTW Did you know that one of my clients helped and built many structures at that school …😎😎😎

Tumaini, a fourteen year old participant of our Wezesha Vijana program, could not help but celebrate her father on #FathersDay for his unwavering support of her education.
She is especially grateful for his assistance with her secondary school scholarship application, where he meticulously gathered and submitted all necessary documents.

Have you been supporting higher education but getting disappointed in your ROI?
Disappointed that the Ivy League college you've been supporting teaches students to hate Jews and demand their genocide.
Disappointed that your money is going towards furthering hate instead of spreading light.
I understand.
You wanted to help propel society forward, but your money has been funding a backward slide.
Luckily, there's another option.
You can still support higher education.
Jewish higher education.
Only this time, your money will be spent on spreading light, love, and real moral values.
PM me and I'll find you a great Jewish school to support.

Big win for charter schools!
Black and Brown parents were under attack by the status quo, integrationist white people who want to control the bodies, minds and souls of Black and Brown children by discrediting their parents’ choice to put them in a charter school.
These charter schools not only affirm their kid’s cultures, but they make them feel safe and provide more opportunities for quality education.
That is what we want and NEED for our future leaders.
Big win!!

A heartfelt shout out to Spelman College, where I had the privilege to grow and learn. Established in 1881, Spelman's legacy of excellence has not only shaped my journey but has also empowered countless leaders who've made a lasting impact. It was founded at a critical time when educational opportunities for Black women were scarce, providing a sanctuary for intellectual growth and community building. 📘👏🏿
Howard University, where my Dad pursued his education, stands as a beacon of empowerment since 1867. It was born out of the urgent need for higher education for newly freed slaves and has since been a powerhouse for producing leaders across various disciplines. Its establishment is a testament to the resilience and brilliance that thrive in the face of adversity. 🎓🔵
Kentucky State University, where my Mom embarked on her educational journey, is a testament to determination and community strength. Founded in 1886, it's a living testament to the power of education and the unwavering spirit of Black triumph over oppression. It emerged in an era when access to education for Black individuals was a hard-fought battle, symbolizing the unwavering commitment to learning and progress. 💪📚
These institutions were first founded to address the dire need for education for Black individuals in a time of systemic discrimination and limited opportunities. They stand not only as educational institutions but as monuments to the enduring legacy of Black individuals who triumphed despite overwhelming challenges. Let's continue to champion and support these vital institutions and honor the rich history they carry forward! 🌟👥 #HBCUExcellence#BlackCulturePride#LegacyOfTriumph
