Buying cold lists never works and can create all kinds of problems for your domains. Trade shows/webinars/etc where the attendees reasonably expect to hear from sponsors don't count per se but still require care when it comes to outreach strategy (e.g. don't automatically sign them up for your newsletter). #emailmarketing
