Both we at 🌱 TIPA and businesses like yours know how vital packaging is. Yet, we all also acknowledge the environmental harm caused by conventional plastic packaging. That's where our compostable packaging comes in: designed to be in harmony with nature, it fully biodegrades post-use, leaving zero waste. Learn all about it here>> https://lnkd.in/dvUkECPE

NEW RESEARCH: Every minute, more than one million plastic bottles of water are sold around the world. And given that the United States only recycles six percent of plastics, most of these bottles end up in landfills – where they take up to a millennium to degrade or end up polluting our land and waterways. We shouldn’t and can’t continue like this, especially since plastic water bottles increase our reliance on climate-destroying fossil fuels! Instead of allowing corporations to bottle our natural resources for profit, we need to halt corporate abuses of water, stop new bottled water facilities, enforce plastic waste management and back up all of these efforts by funding public water infrastructure through legislation like the WATER Act. Also a way to solve the problem…
New York’s water and parks are full of plastic waste. But litterbugs aren’t the problem, according to New York Attorney General Letitia James. It’s the company that puts so many plastic bottles and packages into world, PepsiCo — the maker of Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Lay’s chips and dozens of other brands. Too often, conversations around environmental protection focus on the individual: What you, specifically, can do to reduce waste, improve recycling or otherwise save the environment. But James and others are making the case that the companies that rely on increasing sales of single-use plastics are the ones responsible, not individual shoppers.
