Try this ad creative if you haven’t yet: The Press Release/News Headline. Here is an example of how Fabletics did it: 1. Have a static image of your product or someone using your product. 2. Overlay it with a big headline message. 3. Put a little bubble that shows the product in action again. This type of ad calls attention, stops the scroll, and gives you a chance to sell. It doesn’t even have to be a real article or press release.

Whenever I write a brief, the first thing I ask myself is this: what do I actually want the people who see this to take away from the ad? I write this as a natural statement from the perspective of the person seeing the ad 👀 If nothing else, does it achieve that? Likely you'll be able to land one thing so it make it count 🍕 It's easy to get into churn mode and pump out new briefs that fulfil the designers' needs — without focusing on what you want the audience to know. We did a lot of coffee shop testing of ads at Wise focused on this exact thing; did it actually tell the people what we want it to?

90% of the time i find that brands kill ads way too early… Each piece of ad creative is made up of multiple different parts from: -Headline -callouts -image/video -colours -framework Changing only one of the above can literally take your ad performance from poor to profitable so quickly. But in order to get there you have to squeeze every ounce of juice 🧃from each creative and constantly test different iterations.
