Anthropic recently released Claude 3, a new family of gen AI foundation models. Claude 3 Sonnet is now available on Amazon Bedrock. We at Storm Reply are already exploring Sonnet for our gen AI solutions. The Claude 3 models set a new standard for intelligence with strong vision capabilities, improved accuracy, and longer context. Claude 3 has three models: Opus (most intelligent), Sonnet (balanced between intelligence and speed), and Haiku (fastest and most cost-effective). According to Helmholz the brain is basically a prediction machine. This is a similarity to a LLM which predicts the next token in a text. The large difference is that a LLM has very limited interaction with the world, no online learning, no dynanic long term menory and lacks a well structured world model, a prerequisite for many step complex reasoning and abstract thinking. Next generation AI needs to address those limitations.
