Corporate Social Responsibility is incredibly important to me. Since joining Tenneco a few months ago I am repeatedly reminded of its safety first mindset and exceptional recognition and focus on the most trusted partner and world’s best manufacturer and distributor in the transportation industry.
As a global company with 65,800 team members around the world, 184 manufacturing sites, 30 known brands (15 of which are over 100 years old), with almost $20M in revenue these numbers speak for themselves:
- 31% reduction in recordable incident rate compared to 2019 baseline;
- 21% global women team members at the manager level or above AND the same percentage of ethnically diverse US team members at the manager level or above;
- 23% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity;
- 78% of manufacturing waste was recycled;
- 43 TISAX certified sites; and I'd be remiss not to call out,
- 0 data breaches or complaints regarding data privacy and 0 substantiated complaints concerning breaches of customer privacy and losses of customer data.
But honestly, what really continues to drive and excite me every morning? The “Execute to Win” culture based on its core values:

-a 23% percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions
-a 9% reduction in waste to landfill in the past year
