I had been waiting for this document. Now I would ask that and Strategy professionals immerse themselves into not only this document but the State Department Strategic Framework for Space Diplomacy. Together between both departments and the Commercial sector we can advance a common vision for space with our allies and partners. Those that aspire to be space faring nations can look to the U.S. once again as a beacon for knowledge in this newest domain. Countries dont want Power competition or being a Pawn in other's great game. What to expect? 🧭The trend is long intensifying but what it was before a fragment and opportunistic approach, will turn into a systematic integration of #commercialspace into defence and #govspace. 📈The convergence of commercial and governamental is nextspace.

Our #space industry is more than satellites; it's about safeguarding national interests and fostering #innovation. Australia's geography offers unique advantages for space launches, but without a thriving local space sector, these advantages remain untapped. Recent funding cuts to Australia's space programs compromise our space capabilities and strategic positioning. This for many is unacceptable and you can understand why those affected are looking to this current Labour government for answers.   The cancellation of vital programs like the National Space Mission for Earth Observation leaves us heavily reliant on foreign-owned satellites, jeopardising our access to critical data. Securing success…..A big few weeks for Access Datacom / AMS Group Security in ‘securing’ a large amount of the Women’s and Children's Hospital preliminary relocation works to prepare the Thebarton site for the new facilty. The successful outcome, which is in excess of $1m of work (to be delivered) and based upon the Gallagher Security Access Control and CCTV solution, was due to the significant and combined efforts of Key Account Manager Laurence Allen and Estimation Manager Bruce Heithersay. All of this work is to be delivered locally by Access Datacom staff and our trusted partners. Creating pseudo satellites, flying to the edge of space at 66,000 feet on battery and solar power, showcases the ambition to operationalise the stratosphere to overcome the beyond-line-of-sight, radio and visual line-of-sight, to control a network of assets on the ground and in the air.
