Check out our recap from HLTH. The key takeaway - Emerging technologies like Generative AI, coupled with business model challenges from labor shortages & rising costs, are forcing all healthcare industry players to re-think their playbooks. One thing is for certain, with 330 million people, but only 1.1 million doctors and 4 million nurses - the effective utilization of technology to deliver care and engage patients is a necessity. #RealizingInnovationTogether #DigitalHealth #Innovation

Thanks for a great HLTH Europe 🇳🇱Best conference in years ⭐️ Healthtech is really taking shape as its own industry!! Across so many planned and random meets there is a succinct notion of wanting to improve healthcare, and amazing competences, energy and momentum behind it 🙌 Take aways 👏 So many great solutions are market ready now, with clinical relevant evidence to offer real benefits to patients and healthcare systems. 💵Value based care models for reimbursement and payment is seeing progress, but, it is moving slow and more health tech investors, and investment is needed, both public and private to support implementation and uptake - it takes time. It would also be wonderful to see more of all these great solutions, also flourish and succeed in Europe to benefit patients here!! 💊Pharma / Corporate MedTech X Startup can fill the gap between patient ready health tech and burning patient needs on the one hand, but a slow uptake and implementation of them in healthcare systems. It requires willingness and risk-taking tho :) 🤝 Health tech startup-partnerships is a promising avenue to combine solutions and offering to cover more broadly and holistically on the patient pathways. It is a need in a fragmented health care system and an opportunity that health tech together can provide real solutions to. 🙋♀️ Getting access to patients early and start offering tailored health tech solutions not only seems like a viable path to building evidence leading to investment and reimbursement, but a viable business model in it self. Would be great if this could be catered for within public healthcare setting also to benefit as many as possible! 🧑💻Interoperability and which data platforms that will win in the long run is still early days, and a bit chaotic, but across many other success factors for adoption, taking a stepwise approach, zoomning in on your core customers that will take the business to the next level ,and start with their needs seems viable and then scaling from there while systems and interfaces mature. 🙏Finally, thanks for inspiring and great meeting with both existing and new partners, collaborators and fellow companies, looking forward to catch up!! It's easy to assume that big tech holds all the answers in the evolving landscape of digital health and med tech. But here are three critical takeaways from a recent article showcasing why specialised tech might just be the missing piece: 1️⃣ Healthcare isn't a one-size-fits-all. From patient records to telehealth, each part needs unique, tailored solutions. Specialised tech companies are leading the charge by focusing on singular issues with precision. 2️⃣ The healthcare industry is a whirlwind of change - smaller, specialised firms might lack the scale, but they excel in agility, swiftly adapting to evolving needs and regulations. 3️⃣ No matter the size of organisation, there's no room for error when it comes to people's health and lives. Big tech can ultimately help to foster and scale the right solutions. But specialised tech may be more suited to situations where precision, reliability, and adaptability are needed. How do you think specialised tech is reshaping healthcare? #digitalhealth #medtech #healthcare

We were delighted to bring over 200 senior HealthTech leaders together at The #HealthTechX Summit last month to address the challenges and lay the course for the future of chronic care. 50 leading experts shared their knowledge, expertise, and their visions on stage. Overall, the summit highlighted the importance of collaboration, innovation and the strategic application of technology to address healthcare inefficiencies. Key takeaways from The HealthTechX Summit 2024 🌟 Challenges and Opportunities: - Healthcare inefficiency: The healthcare system faces an efficiency problem, and technology can play a significant role in addressing it. - Funding and ROI: Investors are increasingly focused on companies' ability to generate revenue and profit, making a clear business model crucial. - Data and personalization: Utilizing data from various sources (healthcare and non-healthcare) is essential for personalized care and preventive health strategies. - Regulations: The regulatory environment needs to adapt faster to keep pace with technological advancements in healthcare. 🌟 Technology and Innovation: - Telehealth: While video consultations are valuable, AI algorithms are expected to have a more significant impact on healthcare delivery. - Mental health: There is not equal access to mental healthcare. AI can help to intervene at the right time and democratise access to a certain extent. - AI in healthcare: AI has the potential to revolutionise healthcare, but the regulatory environment needs to adapt faster to build trust and keep pace with technological advancements in healthcare. 🌟 Collaboration and Partnerships: - Collaboration is key: Different stakeholders, including operators, investors, and healthcare providers, need to work together to improve chronic care. - NHS engagement: Building relationships and showcasing the value proposition is crucial for successful collaboration with the NHS. - Startups and established players: Partnerships between startups and established players like the NHS or Google can be beneficial for both parties. 🌟 Patient Experience: - Patients need to be involved in shaping and scaling healthcare solutions, and their voices need to be heard. - The "Holy Grail" in healthcare is behavioural change, and a multi-faceted approach is needed to achieve it. A big thank you to all of our outstanding speakers and moderators for delivering such engaging and inspiring sessions. #healthtech #digitalhealth #chroniccare #patientcare #futureofhealthcare
