Excited to share some recent successes from our international team at connective3! 🎉 Quarter 1 of 2024 has been amazing; we have seen some amazing work across the US!! 🌎 Home brand: well, we only went and built 100 unique links, boosting UR across our two main category pages. It is perfect as this all aligns perfectly with our client's goals and objectives, and it is great to see Chloe Keys working closely with SEO week after week to maximize not just our PR results but also increase visibility across key areas and pages. In the last two weeks of March, we saw 148 total results, with an average DA of 52. What is even more insane is that 60 of these links have a DA of 60 . Amazing work from Emma Robinson, Tom Travers, and Carrie-Beth B. who landed features in Forbes, Digital Journal, and Men's Health. Travel brand: Our work in the US with travel has always seen great success, but nothing like what we saw with our recent spring break campaign!! The campaign has been featured in over 400 publications, with 215 links with a DA of 60 or higher. Across the entire campaign, the average DA sits at an impressive 59. Plus, we've witnessed significant keyword movement, for key focus areas!! Also, let's not forget to mention Stacker, Digital Journal, New York Post, Miami Herald, and much more. 1.5 years ago, I made the decision to join the incredible Digital PR team at Builtvisible. What drew me in? This amazing post on their Be Kind policy ➡️ Are You Paying for Links With Your Principles? (link in bio) Whilst it’s not often shouted about, when I first read about Builtvisible’s Be Kind policy, it was like a breath of fresh air. Coming from an agency with harsh link targets (which isn’t uncommon), where I felt pressured to get quick wins and gain links in the masses, I was surprised to find Builtvisible so against this grain. Here’s why I love the Be Kind policy: 1. Quality over quantity: We focus on getting good, relevant links for our clients and boosting brand awareness to the right audience. It's about impactful connections, not just the numbers. Death to the spray and pray! 2. Building genuine relationships: We cultivate trust with media who genuinely want to write about our stories and aren’t out to get our clients. These authentic connections make all the difference in our campaigns. 3. Understanding our responsibility: In our most recent survey, 1 in 8 Brits feel manipulated or misled by clickbaity headlines. A higher, 2 in 5 British people want trustworthy information, presented reliably, clearly disclosing sources, attributions, and methodologies in news articles. We understand the importance of getting methodologies and campaign data right. By prioritising real, genuine data, we are avoiding manipulation for sensational headlines. Integrity in information is key. I’d love to hear from other DPR’s and marketers: how do you balance relevancy and quantity in your strategies? Let’s discuss how we can all aim for quality, impactful work while staying true to our principles. I’m in no way saying our way is the only way, we still want to encourage conversation within the industry and we’d love to hear more opinions.
