When does trying hard become counterproductive??? I've been diving into the neuroscience of balancing effort and flow. It's like recording multiple takes in a studio until you get one that's "good enough." Then comes the "let's just do one more for fun" take. Every time, that final take is the one that gets used. Why? Because once your brain knows you've got something acceptable, it relaxes, allowing creativity and spontaneity to take over. We often undervalue this state of relaxed creativity. Instead of grinding endlessly, get something "good enough," then give yourself permission to let go and see what happens. You might be surprised by the results. Let's explore this together. Can I have a business at my age? Am I doing the right thing? There were so many times I doubted myself and went into the dark abyss of overthinking. That, of course, led to procrastination. Because if I put things off, I couldn't fail. Which, of course, leads to self-doubt. And on and on... What leads us to this place, where we feel we can't do something? I think it's a combination of upbringing, experiences in life, introspection, desire, belief, etc., I could go on forever. Or it could very well be from a past life. Yes, I said it. Too many factors can lead us to this place of doubt and questioning ourselves. And it's not always figureoutable (yes, it's a word) from our experiences in this life. I did this from the time I started until I had my Akashic reading done this past November. For some of us, even with great feedback and people routing us on, there's that voice inside saying, "Maybe this isn't for you," which can creep in. But, after my Akashic reading, all my doubts about anything went away in one hour! That is why I'm doing this now. Having this extra modality in my coaching will take my clients to the next level. It will help them to know how to transform, to know what steps to take to get rid of the blocks, and to know what those blocks are.
