The Circular Steel Sheet Pile Cofferdam was installed temporarily to allow excavation for building the underground portions of the new Influent Pump Station at the Wastewater Treatment Plant in Clinton, North Carolina. We have now hit the milestone of building the twenty-nine-foot-deep concrete structure and our team to remove the 45’ sheet piles using a vibratory hammer. Our dedicated teams collaborate with plant personnel to understand their needs and exceed their expectations by delivering personalized solutions. We are building the foundations of tomorrow, today. #InfluentPumpStation #SheetPileRemoval #LovingLife

Hello down there! 👋 Pipeline grouting is an essential process for filling and stabilizing abandoned or unused pipelines to prevent ground settlement, erosion, and potential sinkholes. ⛈ One key method is the use of cellular grout, a lightweight, high-flow mixture of cement and synthetic foam. 🎯 #pressuregrouting #construction #constructionlife #constructionindustry #soilremediation #earthretention #infrastructure #stablefoundations

Ensuring stable ground is crucial before any construction project. Clay-rich soil has the potential to swell and heave when exposed to water, causing structural damage. By utilizing chemical injections, we can alter the clay's polarity and prevent heaving and contracting. #Construction #GroundStabilization #StructuralIntegrity #soilstabilization

Underground pipes are the hidden workhorses of our infrastructure, delivering essential water and sewer services. But over time, these pipes can become damaged, cracked, or corroded. Traditional repair methods often involve extensive excavation, disrupting traffic and landscapes. Here's where sliplining comes in – a trenchless rehabilitation technique that offers a faster, more cost-effective solution. Sliplining involves inserting a smaller, structurally sound liner pipe into the existing damaged pipe. This liner, typically made of durable HDPE plastic, FRPM or other materials, is either pushed or pulled through the host pipe. The gap between the old and new pipes is then filled with grout, creating a strong, leak-proof barrier. This method offers several advantages. Progress picture of a cast in place concrete protective liner job. Our crews have been busy cladding formwork and getting ready for a big concrete pour. Concrete protective liner is not just used in precast applications. Cast-in-place situations include but are not limited to vaults and wastewater treatment plants. #infrastructureprotection #concreteprotectiveliner #geomembrane #environmentalprotection

Accelerate consolidation of highly compressible soils with WICK drains! Also known as Prefabricated Vertical Drains (PVD), these specially designed synthetic cores are extruded into a unique configuration to transmit maximum water flow on both sides of the core. PVDs allow free flow of water in all directions and ensure the integrity of the drainage system when subjected to tensile, compressive, and buckling forces as the compressible soil deforms and consolidates. Learn more about how WICK drains can help remove pore water from the soil and speed up consolidation rates . 𝘽𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙡𝙚 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙒𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 & 𝙒𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 Reinforced geomembranes are commonly used for Baffle Curtains. Baffle curtains prevent short-cutting in water treatment in both drinking water and effluent treatment applications. In potable water treatment applications, baffle curtains are placed in clearwells and reservoirs to increase the contact time of chlorine with the water between the inlet and outlet. In effluent treatment applications, a floating baffle curtain eliminates short-cutting in the treatment pond, ensuring that all water has had the required time for the biological breakdown of the effluent to take full effect. https://lnkd.in/grHA77wm #waterwastewater #wastewater #water #bafflecurtains #civilengineering Fabricated Geomembrane Institute Layfield Geosynthetics
