We're at the mid-week point folks! The weeks peak! How's it going for everyone so far? We're also at the tail end of January after what feels like about 11 weeks. If at the end of December 2023, you thought to yourself; "I'll just see things out until the end of January and start looking elsewhere then", well here's a few pointers that I found helped me in the past. 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝑲𝒆𝒚: Take some time to reflect on your skills, passions, and values. What truly motivates you? Understanding your strengths and areas for growth is the first step towards finding the right role. 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉, 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉, 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉: Dive deep into the industries and companies you're interested in. What are their values? How do they contribute to their fields? Knowing your potential employer inside out will give you a competitive edge. 𝑵𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒔 𝑵𝑶𝑻 𝒂 𝑪𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒉é: Connect with professionals in your desired field. Attend industry events, join online forums, and leverage LinkedIn to build meaningful connections.
