Doesnt always feel nice but it’s true: 🔥 „It doesn’t matter what you want to do, it only matters if you do it.“ 🔥 A powerful reminder for me that consistency and execution are the only path to achieve my goals. No one (but me) cares if I don’t. This isn’t my wisdom. I learned this from one of my mentors, Warren Rustand who was appointment secretary to President Ford, past chairman of the World Presidents' Organization, Dean of Learning on the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO), MIT Birthing of Giants Program, and Dean of the EO Leadership Academy. He also ran (very) large companies, has been involved in a great deal of charitable causes, is a bestselling author, is a father of 7 and grandfather of 19 - and more importantly than all of the above- became Dad of the Year in his community. Warren has been generously sharing his wisdom and experience as a leader, dad and entrepreneur with me for the past 6 years. It would be fair to say that Warren has been one of the top 3 most influential men on my life. Easily. Thank you for everything Warren! For anyone who has been thinking about finding a mentor, don’t waste your time and do it today. For all parents in my network: check out the podcast episode I did with Warren when I first met him many moons ago (link below 👇). 🔥 Have you had mentors (formal or informal) in your life that have transformed you and what was the impact of those transformations?
