After four incredible years at Tessera Data/Checkr Group, Inc... The time has come for us to part ways. The mission/vision/values inspired. The impact of the work motivated. The people, many of which I now consider friends, made the challenges and triumphs a truly gratifying experience. I believe that in any endeavor where you are gifted trust, you have an obligation to deliver the best you have to offer. Your mission is to leave something better than you found it. I was gifted such trust four years ago when I joined the company. It was both a humbling and highly motivational opportunity to build a Product team tasked with executing mission critical initiatives. Through a constant demonstration of grit, ownership, transparency, humility and connection, the team’s accomplishments include shepherding the intake of three acquisitions, delivering on five major cost savings initiatives, developing market leading data products and modernizing technology offerings that expanded the breadth and reach of our product portfolio. Most importantly, the Tessera product team never quit on one another - 0% voluntary attrition since 2019. They have persevered through multiple org changes, been there to support each other through difficult times and celebrated each others wins. No matter the circumstances or timing of when this chapter ends for others, this team can unequivocally say they left it better than they found it. Over the next couple of months I plan to be more present with family, reconnect with friends I’ve lost touch with, rebalance mentally and physically, step outside my comfort zone to explore new endeavors and figure out how the next chapter of my professional journey begins. I don't know who needs to hear this, but RXO, Inc. absolutely crushed the competition in 2023. Was it a down year? Sure. But they out performed almost every company. And they have been. FOR YEARS. RXO is and has been best in class. They're embarrassing everyone else TBH. What's frustrating, is that it doesn't have to be that way. Too many companies I talk to are getting in their own way. They do it by understanding the business needs from tech, focusing on tech that helps get the data they need from users (internal and external), investing in data science to drive meaningful insights, alginging tech to business needs from data, focusing on tech that helps enable users with that data to make better decisions,and investing in data science to drive meaningful outcomes in automation. It's a circle, not a line. Holler at your boy if you need some help figuring this out
