SymphonyOS is a brilliant platform for music marketing. I saw 👓 Clint Choi post about it and had to give it a go. I used it to automate setting up my ads for Instagram and Facebook for my music release. I was so impressed when I looked into Ads Manager and saw the back end. All I had to do was set up the creative and hey presto - ads out. If you’re an artist, the last thing you want to be doing is twiddling around with Ads Manager on top of all of the content you need to create for a release to be successful. They don’t use post boosting or let the sneaky Facebook tactics of making you spend more when you’re a newbie have you in a choke hold. My streams were starting to slow down and I gave it a go. Within the first day of using Symphony for my ads, I gained 100 user generated playlist saves and over 500 streams. My CPC was only £0.11! Which is a drastic improvement from my previous attempts at ads direct to Spotify. Not only that, but people viewing my ads are becoming followers too. I set aside a pretty small ad budget too. If you compare that to the price you pay to get credits for Submithub playlist placements, you’re having a laugh because you’re spending £60 to get a certain amount of credits without even being sure the placements you end up getting are going to generate real fans. And on top of that, that’s a lot of money and time to spend pitching to individual tastemakers. With Symphony you can be sure you’ll get results (btw this is not sponsored just want all my music connections to know). I was so dubious to try it out as an independent artist, with not much of a budget, but it really is worth it. Take a look at the stats to see for yourself.
