A Swiss delegation visited Humanitarian Peace Support School (HPSS) for a familiarisation tour with an extensive discussion with Col J Rongoei Commandant HPSS on areas of collaboration between the two countries regarding Counter- Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED). The delegation comprised of Col General Staff (GS) Christopher Fehr, Col Thomas Ott in charge of operations and planning, Command Sergent Major, Gerd Grand and Head of Communications, Daniel Seckles. They were later taken on a tour of the institution and a static display of the training capability at the demo theatre. During the tour, they also visited the ongoing United Nation Triangular Partnership Programme, Heavy Engineering Equipment (UNEPP) (HEE) Course to see the status of training. Present was HPSS Head of Training Lt Col A Neukomm, SOI PSO Lt Col Opiyo, Lt Col (Rtd) Maritim CIED Instructor Maj S Sudan, Officer In Charge(OIC) IEDD Maj A Indimuli, BPST-A REP Maj Scott Burns and OIC Mine Action Capt J Diramo
