CIRCULAR SYSTEMS FOR EARTH DAY I've been for Team Revino ever since I met Adam Rack and Keenan O'Hern, MBA for the first time on a Teams call. These two (and their whole team) have a passionate vision to redefine sustainability in the wine industry. It is easily one of my favorite projects we've worked on at O-I. Returnable wine bottles break even on carbon emissions after the third reuse. Bottles from Revino average an -85% reduction in emissions compared to single-use bottles. Revino is setting the model to bring returnable systems back to the US, a much needed reminder on this Earth Day that reusable glass bottles are the friendliest packaging material for our planet. As Adam said in one of our first meetings, quoting the Dr. Seuss' The Lorax, "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot. Nothing is going to get better. It's not." #sustainability #earthday #forthefuture #fortheplanet #glasspackaging #circularsystems #packagingdesign #glassindustry #designer #industrialdesign #packaging #reusable #refillable #chooseglass
When Oregon-based startup Revino searched for the right manufacturer to produce reusable and returnable glass wine bottles for their winery partners, Revino says O-IPS was a clear choice. The spirit of entrepreneurship was what stood out about O-IPS from the start, especially from a company that’s been in this business for decades. “We’re a startup company, and you need to be entrepreneurial to do that,” Revino co-founder Keenan O’Hern said. “O-I's enthusiasm at the table was infectious, and it really elevated everything we’ve accomplished.” Read more about our collaboration: https://lnkd.in/gndqK_8r #oipackagingsolutions #oips #glasspackaging #chooseglass #sustainablewine #packaginginnovation #revinobottles #pnwwine #reusablepackaging #oregonwine #winebottles

Rob Imbeault once said, “here they are, our first ever Pink Oysters. (Top photo) In startup life, every day is a leap into the unknown. We’ve weathered storms of uncertainty, celebrated victories big and small, and learned that resilience is our most valuable asset. It’s been a journey of discovery – not just of the technical intricacies of farming mushrooms but of our own capabilities, dreams, and the impact we can have on the world. But what makes this journey truly rewarding is the ability to look back. To see where we started and where we are now is a powerful reminder of what we are capable of achieving. It’s a story of transformation, not just for our company but for each of us personally and professionally. To our fellow entrepreneurs, dreamers, and changemakers: let this be a reminder that growth is a process, innovation is a journey, and resilience is the key to transformation. Your current challenges are just the precursor to your next breakthrough. - Pink Oysters that look like the bottom photo are available at a Loblaws/Longos/Eataly near you! 📍 #innovation #agtech #futureoffarming Rob Imbeault Jonathan Murray Colin F. It should be no secret by now that we're on a mission to bring transparency and certainty to the seafood industry. 💪🐟 In the lead up to the launch of our Live Market (👀 here → https://shorturl.at/kxVY2), we dived into why transparency is so important for the industry. But what about certainty? If transparency is what helps suppliers get to the right price and sell their stock fast, certainty is what ensures buyers keep coming back to buy more. It's the confidence that they will get their goods on time, in full, and at the right quality - every time! 🤩 Take a look below to see why certainty matters in seafood, and how we're tackling this vital aspect of the industry! #seafood #seafoodindustry #certainty #startups #fish #innovation
