🤔 An interesting article share by my colleague, and talented copywriter, Anne George, about the coffee culture in Melbourne. ☕ It got me thinking about the European culture of stopping in the café to drink your coffee, and taking time for meals, vs. the 'Australian' habit of coffee on the go and lunch at the desk. 🥐 Personally, I love the European culture of taking time to enjoy something as simple as a morning café au lait, or a two-course meal at lunch time, without the worry of having to be back at your desk before the boss notices. European culture tends to treat these things as sacred (especially the French!) They acknowledge that stopping to take a break and enjoy the small things in life, is important. ❓ Why do we think that 'busy is better'? This is the kind of thought pattern that breeds stress and overwhelm. If stress and overwhelm are present in your life, try this... ☕ Instead of grabbing a coffee to go in the morning, leave home 5 minutes earlier and spend that 5 minutes enjoying your coffee in the café while watching the world go by. 🍝 Instead of eating your lunch at the desk, take 15 minutes to walk outside and eat there, or simply head to the break room, if you have one. Start with 3 times a week and notice how you begin to feel calmer. Bring back coffee at the café I say!! 😊☕ #coffeeculture #overcomeanxiety #stress #overwhelm #moonbeammonday #changeyourmindchangeyourlife #mindshiftmastery

U.S. Immigration Attorney representing ✈️Airline Pilots, 🚀Extraordinary Abilities, 💡 National Interest Waivers
A day late but still worth sharing. Happy Late Christmas, Chanukah, Festivus! I don't know when they were able to film this as the runways at DIA are rarely this empty or quiet. Not a bad view/acoustics ... rivaling Red Rocks? Denver has longest runways in the US. Taking off with large heavily loaded passenger/cargo planes is a lot harder and takes longer to get lift at higher elevations. Therefore runways need to be longer than at or near sea level. There are US airports with higher elevations but they usually are smaller regional airports that don't see the large widebody jets that Denver does. Those airports also are often up in the mountains where finding enough space for a long runway is often impossible. Denver fortunately is on the high plains (not high planes ✈ ) adjacent to the Rockies. #immigration #globalmobility #pilots #aviation #eb2niw #greencard
Wishing you a holiday filled with high-flying joy and soaring spirits. ✈️🎄 Enjoy our second annual jingle on the runway!

I don’t teach cold outreach to my clients with wedding venues out of the blue, here's why 💁🏼♀️ ❎ Everybody does that ❎ Its bad positioning Instead, I teach my clients how to prepare for their business to become hunted by venue co-ordinators and managers. Because wedding venue managers are talent spotters seeking the elite 👀 👌🏻 So instead... 💥Be unique 💥Be passionate 💥Show venue staff that you are in expert in your field that's worthy of being listed in front of their brides-to-be. Being noticed and known for what you do is the BEST way to be in hot pursuit by everyone around you for as long as you're in business. #makeupartistrybusiness #makeupbusiness #makeupbusinesscoach

Don't make me get the corgis on you! 🐕 Where the heck is Kate? I talk A LOT about transparency in business. That and trust. If you’re aiming to resonate with your audience and craft a deep, meaningful connection (so they’ll eventually part with their pennies), you can’t afford to misstep these two values. Queen Lilibet is probs looking at this PR carnage from beyond like: “I’ve barely been gone 10 minutes; don’t make me get the corgis on you!”. But in all seriousness, the royal family has a duty to their audience—us, the (sometimes not so Great) British people, and their global audience of fans. Queen Lizzie’s mantra was: Never complain, never explain. Does this hold up in 2024, though? When thinking about your brand/business, the answer should be a resounding… 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 Check out Sonder's free weekly Main Character newsletter to find the answer! 👇 (Link in comments) Subscribe to get binge-worthy brand storytelling tips right to your inbox every Tuesday. The Wall Street Journal, THE COMPETITION for THE WORLD'S RICHEST SHOPPERS. Backstage passes. Secret dinners. Exclusive invites. When you have everything, stores lure you with the things money can’t buy. A new era of one-upmanship has taken hold in luxury shopping, where retailers and brands are vying to outdo each other to attract and retain wealthy shoppers. Mytheresa gets more than a third of its sales from just 3% of shoppers. At Neiman Marcus 2% of customers deliver 40% of sales. The brands are treating customers the way airlines treat frequent fliers and casinos treat “whales,” the highest rollers who get fancy suites, drinks and other amenities. #luxury #retail #thefutureofretail #wealth #management
