GTINs streamline processes and enhance efficiency in comparison to traditional SKUs - 6 million barcodes scanned daily underscores the widespread adoption of GS1 standards. With over 1.5 million companies utilizing these standards, the significance of standardized barcodes continues to develop. - Another major takeaway denotes the importance of standardized data carriers within supply chain visibility, affecting aspects like traceability, inventory management, and sustainability. As technology continues to advance, the potential for data carriers to store more data within increases, thus further improvements in supply chain visibility remain promising.
