The #WEF just published it’s Global Cybersecurity Outlook 2024. Some insights: - A substantial 54% of organizations lack sufficient understanding of cyber vulnerabilities in their #SupplyChain. - Despite 64% of executives believing their organization's cyber resilience meets operational requirements, many acknowledge a poor grasp of supply-chain cyber vulnerabilities. - There's an increased recognition of the role of #cyber and #privacy regulations, with 60% of executives agreeing they reduce #risk, a 21% increase since 2022. - The report points out the necessity for all organizations to achieve a minimum viability in cybersecurity for a secure ecosystem. The current disparity in cyber resilience capabilities makes the digital landscape vulnerable. - The WEF emphasizes the importance of raising systemic resilience, requiring all organizations to close the divide and improve resilience, particularly in the face of increasing digitalization and convergence of #OT (operational technology) and #IT (information technology) environments. A great Gartner Security and Risk conference this week for Bedrock Security! While my keynote slide picture from Gartner's Chris Mixter is fuzzy, the message was clear: by 2028 50% of cyber jobs will not be needed!  Agree or not, Gartner’s statement highlights the critical impact of #AI for cyber  At Bedrock, AI was built into everything we do - and not added on as a “co” anything! A few highlights: * Great insights from Anthony Carpino on #datasecurity needs for #zerotrust.  In fact, in our 1-1 with Anthony, he highlighted that many organizations really struggle with basic visibility of data, its importance to the business, and an AI driven way to deal with security issues accurately, quickly, and cost effectively.  We agree! * Andrew Bales talked about his framework for data security and how DLP programs will collapse into other tools.  We agree!  It is not enough to just have #DSPM - we need to address the foundational elements of fast, accurate data discovery, classification, AND enforcement all in one platform for stopping modern threats. And we appreciated the time with many prospects and customers to speak to us about their data security challenges and how Bedrock was top of their list as their chosen trusted advisor.  We are humbled by their support! And a quick shout out to the Gartner team - who were great about supporting us during the week - especially Rory Nunamacher !

The White House and US Congress do not ignore the global risk of targeted cyberattacks. Why should you?
