Advanced surgical robot procedures have complex motion challenges that must be overcome to ensure the best system performance and patient outcomes. For example, a single surgical procedure can involve multiple robotic arms and rotating mechanisms that must move in sync with each other. When specifying bearings that realize the translation of these robotic appendages, you can’t afford to skimp on precision and performance. Learn about the key characteristics to look for in our latest blog post: https://lnkd.in/dNqh8WsN #surgicalrobots #robotics #automation #motioncontrol

Micro surgical robots with extreme dexterity! 👉 👈 Anything that can be done to give surgeons more dexterity - especially when working inside the body - is a good thing. That's were Vicarious Surgical Inc. comes in. They have developed a tele-operated micro-robot solution that can be inserted into the body with an incision less than 2cm in length. This includes two arms and a camera! The camera can see a full 360 degrees and each arm has nine degrees of freedom, giving the surgeon unprecedented dexterity when working within a body cavity. Look at those tiny little arms go!!! Video sources: Vicarious Surgical #robotics #innovation #technology #teleoperation

Robotic micro surgery has some of the highest success rates while producing minimal scar tissue. When robotic surgery is an option I suggest choosing that over standard options.

My commentary on "High-tech for good‼️ Micro surgical robots in action": Micro surgical robots is another #innovation in #robotics engineering. This time, engineers have invented robots on a micro level (too small but cute). While many people were focusing on large size robots, there was a small group of roboticists who were focusing on developing tiny robots for medical purpose. This time, medical field is going to be enhanced greatly with the help of these cute little robots. These robots, remotely controlled by doctors will perform medical operations that were difficult to be done previously. A breakthrough achievement in healthtech. Not only that, each of these cute little robots is given a little camera, acting like an eye for the robot, and helping the doctors too see clearly during operation. These little robots also have amazing dexterity, a proof of an extraordinary expertise in mechanical #engineering among those engineers who invented them! This is not only an extraordinary #technology, but an honorable one as well. Mohd Razali The #Copywriter
