How to make an everlasting impression on a recruiter? Here’s a short 5 step process: 1. When they say “Hi” ↠ You say “Bye” 2. When they say “Introduce yourself” ↠ You say “I need no introduction” 3. When they say “Tell me about your experience” ↠ You say “I don't require experience” 4. When they say “Why should we hire you” ↠ You say “Why should I join your company” 5. Now before they close the interview ↠ You say “The interview is concluded”. BOOM. You have aced the interview and left an everlasting impression. Thank me later! #interview #hr #recruiter

The "perfect job" can sour pretty quickly if you aren't at the right company. If your company doesn't encourage professional growth, provide a healthy environment, and support their employees then all of a sudden that "perfect job" you've been chasing no longer seems so perfect. Figure out what kind of company culture you want ahead of time and ask specific questions during the interview to find out if the company values align with yours. #companyculture #interviewing #professionalgrowth

Recruiter with a particular set of skills, skills acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a good recruiter for you. I will find you the best candidate for your open role. And you will hire them.
Searches are always like this. We find people, we get their availability, we get all positives for feedback, then we're told to hang tight after we get done with the process so "a few more" people can interview... and then we call our person and sometimes they have another offer, they've lost that lovin feeling, or they've made some other decision.. We talk about this constantly in staffing and linkedin. SOMETIMES, the process is the process, But I would encourage all of the hiring managers out there to not add that extra week to think about it, or that additional interview after the fact. Great candidates always have another option, and that option usually doesn't ask to see another 3-4 people.. Just sayin. #recruiterlife

We've all been there - that moment in an interview when you're asked: 'So why should we hire you?' It's a classic question that often leaves us stumped. But fear not! There is a strategy to tackle it. The key to success is to focus less on why you want the job and more on what the company needs. Identify their challenges and demonstrate how your skills, experiences and qualities can help them overcome these. Remember, it's not about you. It's about them. By redirecting the conversation towards their needs, you instantly become a more attractive candidate. So next time when asked 'Why should we hire you?', remember to steer your answer away from yourself and towards them. #VikramWrites

Couldn't agree more. Ups and downs at the workplace are common. You don't know anything about the next place yet so bad-mouthing last one is an act of ingratitude. Always be proud of your working experience and things you have learned. Don't exaggerate your achievements citing "I did, I achieved", try to refer to team work. It's often suggested to smile, but it doesn't fit in every context. Keep calm composure & smile where necessary. Don't try to be too humourous or vague. Respond to simple questions in a clear meaningful way. Showcase your relevant expertise and adaptable behaviour. #jobinterview #hrhiring
⛔ Mistakes to avoid when interviewing ⛔ ... 👀 1. “Ugh, my last Company…” - Always keep your tone about your previous employer neutral or positive and focus more on what you learned. 2. Responding with “So, Tell Me What You Do Around Here" - This shows that you haven't done any research about the position or company prior to the interview. 3. Avoid using overused 'Buzzwords and phrases' - Convey your skills and abilities using examples from your past experiences. 4. Coming across as saying 'all the correct things', or 'what you think the employee wants to hear'. - You want the conversation to come across as genuine and not robotic. 5. Not explaining gaps in employment. - Particularly over the last four years with COVID, gaps in employment have become a lot more common and are certainly not a deal breaker.
