Last week we proudly sponsored #Consensus2024's hackathon, hosted by EasyA. We challenged devs to "Build for the Masses" and build beyond the "traditional" limits of web3. The top 5 projects received their piece of a $50K prize pool: 🥇In 1st place: Hold 'Em Without the House – a trustless, decentralized, and fully onchain Texas Hold ’em poker game. Four devs who had never met each other or built on Sui before came together on this winning project! 🥈In 2nd place: Sui Battle Quest – a fully onchain trading card and battle game for SuiFrens, utilizing zkLogin and Kiosk. 🥉 In 3rd place (tied across 3 projects): * Hop SDK – an SDK that enables Sui devs to integrate highly performant swaps using only a few lines of code. * Overdoze – enables devs to integrate 3D NFTs into their apps, which gamers & creators can use as universal avatars across platforms. * SuiKula – users can gift experiences and record them using Proof of Experience NFTs, building trust and reputation in their local community. Thanks to the hundreds of devs who participated in the hackathon and special shoutout to the 30 projects that innovated on Sui! If you want to learn how to build on Sui, head over to our dev portal 👉 https://sui.io/developers

➡ Connect with the inWEB Team for Personal Meetings! ⬅ On the 17th, we hosted a webinar and were thrilled with the engagement – we answered 20 of your questions, including: 💡 What about working with multi layout in drawing? (Layouts are supported in the same way as in the desktop application.) 💡 Do we need the DLL that has the defininiation of the custom entity? and how to load the DLL? (Dll is not part of webassembly, to add custom entity you shoudl implement and compile you own version DrawingWeb. But we will investigate possibility to compile dll modules into WebAseembly to be able to load and use in browser side.) 💡 Can we use Drawing inWeb SDK in React Native or Flutter? (Yes if you plan to use WebView that supports Webassembly and WebGL technology) But we’re not stopping there! If you have more questions or want to dive deeper into ODA inWeb capabilities and future development plans, join us for individual meetings with our developers from September 23 to 27. 🔗https://lnkd.in/e62XZdWi And if you missed the webinar, catch up via the link below and feel free to share it with your colleagues! 🔗https://lnkd.in/e6tqdAtu

Your first app running on Kubernetes in 14 weeks? 🤔 14 Days? 🙂 14 Minutes? 🤗 Nope! 😳 With Otomi Developers can have an app running on Kubernetes in just a couple of minutes. When using Otomi developers can get access to what we call a Team. A team can be used for a group of developers, or even as a sandbox environment for an individual developer. It's a namespace as a service, combined with an easy self-service portal. The latest version of Otomi now includes a Developer Catalog. The platform team can create Golden Path templates and offer them to developers to use. Developers can then select which template to use to deploy their app. Now developers (or DevOps teams) can start right away to: ✅ Create code repositories ✅ Build applications ✅ Deploy applications ✅ Expose applications on the available networks ✅ Monitor their application (using the provided logs, metrics and traces) ✅ Secure their applications (using the provided insight into policy violations and detected vulnerabilities) I recorded a short video showing how Otomi can be used as a self service portal for developers and offer them a paved road using golden path templates to get their code up and running on Kubernetes in just a couple of minutes. 👇 https://lnkd.in/ewFgEVwg #kubernetes #platformengineering #developerslife #selfservice #idp

Redux Toolkit has become the standard way to build Redux apps 📈 by making common use cases a breeze! In this post, I'll give you the lowdown on why you should level up your Redux skills with RTK instead of vanilla Redux: ✅ Streamlined store setup with smart defaults ✅ Simplified immutable updates with createSlice 🤯 ✅ Less boilerplate with auto-generated action creators! 💃 ✅ Smooth integration with React Redux 😍 ✅ Built-in devtools and middleware ⚛️ I also include a code example of updating a counter in React with the RTK store. 👌 The goal is to show how RTK lets you focus on business logic rather than configure Redux. 💯 If you've been in a love-hate relationship with Redux, RTK might just change your mind! 💗Or if you're getting started with Redux, skip the pain points and start here! Let me know what you think! Does this lively intro grab your attention for understanding RTK's benefits? 😊 #reactjs #reactdeveloper #reactjsdeveloper #redux #reduxtoolkit

Morning everyone and Starting our week with the second part of Redux. This time we'll talk about Redux Toolkit 🤌 When we say toolkit, we say a set of installed and configure tools ready to use ⚒️ Think about Redux Toolkit the same way: Redux Toolkit = Redux Ecosystem Tools In other words Redux Toolkit comes with a new version of Redux where we have everything set and ready to play with ! Before we had createStore API function which creates a store for us but it should take the combined reducers and the list of manually configured middlewares such as Thunk, Logger, etc ... Toolkit comes with the famous configureStore (createStore becomes deprecated) which by default has enabled Redux DevTools and Redux Thunk for the asynchronous calls Also no more needed to define the actionTypes, actionCreators separately. The new way is using Slices in a more simplified way to deal with the store. Find out more about Redux Toolkit: https://lnkd.in/dY-EzFNj #Redux #ReduxToolkit #Store #configureStore #Middlewares #State #Reducers #Slices
