I like this. Core values are your identity. Getting sh*t done should be on everyone's list. It is easy to say you will do something, but follow-through is often lacking. What are you going to get done today?
On one of the many trips I take through our warehouse, when I venture out of my office to talk to the fabrication team, I glanced up and noticed our core values proudly displayed way up high for all to see. Have I mentioned how blessed I am to work for InStore Design Display? This 👇🏻👇🏻 is ridiculously amazing. This 👇🏻👇🏻 is embraced by every team member. #lovemyteam

It allows us to present our vision cohesively, ensuring our client shares the same exciting vision of their brand's evolution. This presentation is particularly important in our journey, as it is a combination of strategy, creativity, and our shared aspirations. It serves as a compass guiding us forward, keeping our efforts aligned and our goals crystal clear! Mastering Project Timing for Seasonal Launches: Skye Body Wash's Successful Summer Debut. Seasonal product launches require meticulous planning and execution to capitalize on consumer trends and maximize impact. Our Skye Body Wash's recent summer debut exemplifies how strategic timing, swift co-ordination and seamless execution can drive a successful seasonal launch. Launching a new product line for the summer season demands a keen understanding of consumer behaviour and market dynamics. For Skye Body Wash, the best part was we had the visual architecture in place as we had done the winter edition of Body lotions for the brand, our team had to crack the visual language to reflect the freshness promise for the exotic body washes. With so many variants, Skye aimed to make the summer shower a delightful experience for the consumers. We brought in vibrant, splash-inspired design bursting with the exotic ingredients that would immediately captures the carefree spirit of summer, while the transparent labels showcase the fresh, natural colours that consumers crave during the warmer months. This cohesive visual identity positions Skye Body Wash as a must-have summer essential. The creativity was matched with a keen eye for detail, from the execution point of view with an understanding of the transparent label substrate so at to minimise back and forth on the final artworks from printing point of view. While I believe in getting enough time for creative projects, successful seasonal debuts requires empathising with the brand team’s objective of aligning the product launch with the season's rhythm and both the teams working in lockstep to master the delicate balance of creativity and timing. Skye Body Wash's summer launch is a testament to the power of this integrated approach.

Decathlon recently got a rebrand executed by Wolff Olins. The new visual identity boasts a fresh icon – L’Orbit – reflecting the brand’s new mission to “move people through the wonders of sport”. What I like: - The icon has been executed superbly, keeping it minimal and it sits well with the rest of the logo. - I am glad that they didn’t make many changes to the wordmark and kept it close to the original which has a huge recall. In the middle: - I used to like the way the top of 'C' letter would align with the slant of 'A' letter in the logo. I was not very fond of it when I saw this. Don't know, may be it will grow on me. What I don’t like: - I liked the light blue color of the old identity, only because whenever I had to look for or pass by a Decathlon store, the building would stand out of the crowd because it was noticeable and you would not find any other building painted in this color. Currently, I am not sure if the store exterior painted in this new color would give the same distinction as the old one. Sure the mockups look great in the identity but in reality, the color would not have such high contrast with the surroundings. Comment if agree or disagree with this.

That can't be real....can it? Jacquemus started the ball rolling with handbags driving through the streets of Paris, Maybelline New York fooled some into thinking they put mascara on London's iconic tube trains, even Nike and Chelsea FC have used Tower Bridge as a clothesline to hang out their latest kit. So when I saw this from Marc Jacobs I can't lie I did a mini eye roll. We're in the middle of an AI/CGI trend, and it isn't going away anytime soon. They are faster to create and generally don't require as many sign-offs, build costs or potential for huge disasters as a real-world activation of that scale. But if you're in the industry, you are already mentally filtering out the mediocre activations. But this actually happened. Marc Jacobs actually built a super cute inflatable handbag and stuffed it in a vacant lot in New York. Kudos for keeping it real. As the lines between real and AI, physical and CGI continue to blur we need to have an appreciation of quality work in both realms. If anyone can create an AI masterpiece, will we develop a deeper appreciation for a master painter? Or perhaps someone who took the time to scope, cost, get client sign off, build, shoot and sell in a campaign.
