Hey Strava, You know I love you and have been waiting for dark mode forever but this isn’t it. This is total pitch black with white text that’s actually more eye straining than light mode. This likely doesn’t pass the a11y test at all: https://dubbot.com/dubblog/2023/dark-mode-a11y.html Hoping this is just a v1 and you all continue to refine this. Until then, I’m going to use light mode.

I cannot see the Appearance option under settings > preferences

As an avid strava and garmin user, I thought I would love the strava dark mode. So far, I'm not digging it. I think the color contrast/readability is tough depending on the level of ambient lighting. I think garmin does a better job addressing this by keeping the maps light and having a lighter grey behind the numbers to help the eyes "adjust" would love to know if anyone else feels this way?

I'd like to thank Strava for officially recognizing that exercising in the dark is superior. The new dark mode is the perfect companion for my nocturnal fitness escapades 😅

How about the uploading of hi-res photos/video? I realize at its core, Strava is a metrics and data application, but with more storytellers, photographers, and influencers joining the "athlete" space, it makes sense to offer photos/videos without insane compression rates and less than ideal viewing quality...

o.. k... ??? I mean, it is such a basic feature..... if I have issues with Strava it is not the lack of Dark Mode.

Finally I can check who missed out on giving me kudos, when in bed late at night, without burning my eyes! Thank you Strava! 🙏
