Chief Technology, Product and Digital Officer (CTO/ CPO), Member of Executive Management Committee (EMC) at CAE, Advisory Board Member
Montreal is a global AI leader and @All-in-canada 2024 has been a testament to that. At this year’s edition, I had the opportunity to: host a roundtable with aerospace peers and AI ecosystem experts. Aerospace and AI are both innovative fields where synergies between their experts are essential to continue to develop human-centric technologies. Our discussion has been the catalyst of future promising dialogues. Thank you to Consortium de recherche et d'innovation en aérospatiale au Québec (CRIAQ), Air Canada Polytechnique Montréal , CRIM , Aéro Montréal , confianceia, INSAT ~ INTAD , National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada , Cert Center Canada , @iatabd, Vector Institute , Beslogic ,for your valuable insights. Share my perspective on AI Powering the Transport and Logistics Sector as an introduction to the panel on the same topic. Training is critical in the transport and logistics industry. Hence, when we train pilots at CAE , we use CAE Rise, an insight tool that gives us the pilot’s telemetric and biometric data during her/his training. With AI, we can assess the data to target the pilot’s skills, which are sometimes off by only millimeters or nanoseconds, and we can tackle them with competency-based training to improve pilots’ performance more efficiently. This insight was only one of the many inspiring ones shared at #ALLIN2024 which make me excited for what lies ahead as we continue to push the boundaries of technology! #ALLIN #ALLIN2024 #AI #TechnologyInnovation #TransportAndLogistics #Aviation #Leadership

"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.", said Benjamin Franklin. After completing a project, success is not only about meeting clients' needs but also about accumulating knowledge and cultivating new methods, skills, and experiences for the development team. However, not all members knew these insights, so we’ve decided to organize weekly or monthly seminars to share these interesting topics together. The first seminar was held on May 3rd last week, with Mr. Tong sharing about the AI’s application in the recent EVN project. 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁'𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗯𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀. The use of data for AI training and data storage when the project goes on attracted our attention and discussion. Mr. Tong🤵 shared: "The success of the seminar is from our sharing, not just from the content shared. Let's share new and interesting things that you have learned or discovered by chance, all are valuable." Hope to have many more similar beneficial seminars in the future. 💁 And 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚?
