We are deeply grateful to the @Lundbeck US Charitable Fund for its $1.1 million donation to Stop Soldier Suicide. Their incredible contribution will help us scale our suicide-specific support and deliver thousands of hours of evidence-based services for some of the most at-risk U.S. veterans and service members. This Mental Health Awareness Month, we applaud the more than 400 corporate partners who are helping us provide free mental health and wellness care for veterans and service members. Lundbeck US Charitable Fund announced this funding in November 2023, and we are receiving funds throughout the course of 2024-2026. Learn more about their contribution: https://lnkd.in/g4xeYUsz

The Oval Partnership are once again taking part in the Samworth Charity Challenge on 18th May 2024 to raise funds for Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice. It's an exhilarating & gruelling adventure race for teams of four, where you are required to plan and navigate your way around the course in order to collect points. The event is held every 2 years and will see our team pushed to the limits on a triathalon course which includes Mountain, Canoe & Cycle stages with all being approximately 3 hours duration and will be held near Ambleside in the Lake District. That sounds easy right? Wrong! this isn't a walk in the park. There are 2 difficulties to choose from, Tough and Elite and we know from past experience they are not for the faint hearted. But the charity that we support makes this challenge worthwhile. Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice help children with end of life care and provide bereavement support to their families through what is such a challenging period to make what time they have left special. Please follow this link to donate: https://lnkd.in/egw6pGYv Every donation will help them no matter how big or small. Thank you so much for your donations from all of us at The Oval Partnership 😊. Well, that was fun..! I decided to test an upcoming activation concept for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana by running a mini version myself. I’m happy to reconfirm that peer-to-peer fundraising is alive and well! 🎉 And no… it does not need to be tied to an event or special occasion. In a little over 24 hours, I exceeded my goal - raising $1,500 from 24 donors. Here's what worked: ✅ Great Tech: A seamless and straightforward platform and donation process thanks to my BFF Fundraise Up. ✅ Individual Donor Recognition: Every single contribution was celebrated - personally and publicly! ✅ Regular Updates: I kept the momentum going with live progress shares. ✅ Personalization & Storytelling: Every message came straight from me, with personal anecdotes wherever possible. ✅ Mission Tie-In: I made it clear why donations were so impactful at this specific moment in time. ✅ Multichannel Communication: I reached out to my community through texts, social media, and email. What did I miss? Anything you’d add to ensure the official launch of this campaign is a success? #peertopeer #p2pfundraising #fundraising #rmhc #keepingfamiliesclose
We made it! The first day of Spring 🌸 As the days get warmer, the need for support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana grows. Summer is our busiest time of year as many families use the break to travel for treatments and surgeries. Mike McDonald and I have an exciting summer ahead welcoming another McDonald boy to our fam! 💙 As you look forward to relaxing days and family vacations, please don't forget those families who will be spending their summer in hospital rooms. These next few weeks are a critical time to rally the resources needed to help RMHC-CNI be fully prepared to support these families. I've set up a personal fundraiser to pay it forward and ensure we are able to provide a home away from home for everyone who needs it. Help me reach my goal:

Are fears or past regrets holding you back from releasing the resources God has entrusted to you? Most seasoned givers have at least one story of a gift that didn’t go the way they hoped or expected. Brian Grasso shares candidly about his painful experience as a young giver and what compelled him to roll up his sleeves and dig deep into what it takes to make wiser charitable decisions. Chief Operating Officer - National Child Protection Task Force | Chief Legal Officer - ClickSafe Intelligence | Founder - Eguzkilore Consulting, LLC
As a trial attorney, you learn to recite facts in a compelling manner. In doing so, you learn that truth is often stranger than fiction. So let me tell you a story... I left my decade-long career as a prosecutor to join The National Child Protection Task Force full-time in 2021. I had no apprehension. It was a leap of faith in a dedicated group of individuals who were focused on saving #justonemore child from exploitation. However, I had one regret: not being able to directly support my community the way I did as an ADA. I missed that direct impact I was able to give survivors and their families. Then I received an email earlier this year from an officer we trained in New York. That officer was thanking us. He told us about a young girl who went missing - presumably a runaway - in his jurisdiction. However, based on our training he knew something didn't add up. Utilizing techniques NCPTF taught him, they located the girl with a man twice her age who had groomed her via a video game platform. Between our training and their ceaseless work, they were able to recover the girl in 24 hours even though the defendant took her out of state. The defendant brought her to my home county in Pennsylvania. He's being prosecuted by my former office. NCPTF strives to serve all law enforcement and strengthen their ability to recover missing and exploited children. The more we are able to train officers, to assist them in their times of need, the wider the our impact. It's the butterfly effect in action. Therefore, I ask you to consider donating to us today, #givingtuesday, because there is a good chance you can help save a vulnerable child in your own backyard.
We believe that EVERY child deserves a childhood filled with safety and joy, free from harm and trauma. On this Giving Tuesday, please partner with us in this effort by making a quick donation at https://ncptf.org/donate. Thank you for your continued partnership. 💙 #NCPTF #JustOneMore #GivingTuesday #ChildhoodMatters
