Last weekend, the French members of our SUSTAINera team had the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to the environment beyond the office! They participated at Run for Planet - France, which is the first French race dedicated to the activation for the planet. The primary objective of this race is to raise awareness among the general public about ecological, social, and ethical challenges while also raising funds for dedicated associations. The team members decided to contribute to the association #Planeteurgence. With each subscription, a tree is planted. 🌱 Many thanks to the organizers for this opportunity, and to all team participants! 💚 #comittment #environment #sustainability

🌿 As Earth Month 2024 approaches, it's a powerful reminder of our collective journey towards sustainability. From the first Earth Day in 1970 to the global movement it has become, we've seen the impact of unified action for our planet. 🌍 At Play It Green, we believe in the power of individual and corporate actions to create lasting change. This Earth Month, let's reflect on our relationship with the environment and mobilise towards greater sustainability in all aspects of our lives. 🌱 Find out more about Earth Month by reading our latest article on the very subject using the link in the comments. 👇 To make a direct impact, we invite our community to utilise their 'Forest Garden' members' area. Launch a campaign to plant trees, mangroves, and sea kelp. Whether you aim to plant 100 trees or more, every contribution counts. Plus, for every 50p raised, 5p goes to a charity of your choice. Share your unique campaign with friends, followers, and customers to spread the impact. 🌳💚 Let's celebrate Earth Month by planting the seeds for a greener future together. #PlayItGreen #EarthMonth2024 #PlantForThePlanet

Announcing: Catalyze Change, Collective Action Week (Jan 29th) *Celebrating Suzanne Biegel* ❤️👇🏻❤️👇🏻❤️ (Please reshare) As you are aware, our dear, inspiring, and indefatigable friend sailed away from us in September. Over the past and next six months, several events have been and will be held to honor her extraordinary life. Unfortunately, due to limited capacity, not everyone who cherished her can be invited to these in-person gatherings. This week is our way of providing a space online for anyone who wishes to celebrate her life. While we have focused on a week for ‘collective action’ Suzanne sits in our hearts always. You can read more about her extraordinary life here: https://lnkd.in/dVdxDuWT Suzanne was passionate about connecting people and catalyzing change. She would want to bring people together and encourage action, especially to bring awareness and engagement to Heading for Change, the fund she and her husband, Daniel Maskit, started to accelerate proven climate and biodiversity solutions with women as agents of change. You can read more about it and donate to the fund here https://lnkd.in/dh8UbuTy When The week of January 29th has been designated for this special celebration. If you would like to be part of the life celebration of Suzanne and commit to catalyzing change in some way, please sign up here. We will then organize people into small groups and provide instructions for those groups to self-organize their online catalytic celebrations of Suzanne. Sign Up and Share If you are moved, please sign up at https://lnkd.in/dw4Q_Gh9 and encourage all those you know to join. While you can self-organize, we prefer that everyone goes through the process so that serendipity can happen. Suzanne would have wanted it that way. For you all to get to meet new people! There's still time to submit or nominate an event for the prestigious #IncredibleImpacts award. Only 3️⃣ days left until submissions close on 4 September. Today we're taking you back to 2018, when the International Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) was awarded an Incredible Impact grant. The Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) hosted a unique global forum striving to develop and advance the world’s knowledge and understanding of our #ecosystems. The world #conference in 2017 attracted 1,000 delegates from more than 60 countries, creating a massive impact across the globe by promoting worldwide knowledge transfer, and facilitated paid-for attendance from delegates in developing countries, in recognition of the fact that environmental degradation is a global problem and those countries are the hardest hit. The week-long conference also gave attendees the opportunity to spend the day volunteering at a restoration site near the venue, planting trees and collecting native seeds. The SER also made a donation on behalf of the event to support local restorative activities in the area to offset the conference’s footprint. Visit https://lnkd.in/g-qfwqhv to read the entire case study. === Submit your proposal or nominate an association for a chance to win the $20,000 Incredible Impacts Grant by 4 September 2023. Don't let this chance slip away to showcase remarkable legacy initiatives and shape the future of our industry. Visit incredibleimpacts.com for more information and submissions. === #IncredibleImpactsAward2023 #IncredibleImpacts2023 #ICCA #BestCities ICCA
