🌟 National Diabetes Week: 14-20 July 2024! 🌟 As National Diabetes Week begins, advocating for fair access to diabetes technology across Australia is critical. My husband, who has lived with type 1 diabetes for nearly 20 years, and I have witnessed firsthand how technologies like Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) devices, and soon, an insulin pump, can significantly enhance quality of life. Not all have equal access to these tools, some benefit while others are left behind. With global diabetes rates affecting 1 in 9 adults, it's urgent to unite for equitable tech access. Let's raise our voices together to ensure every Australian living with diabetes has the resources they need. 💪 #NationalDiabetesWeek #DiabetesAwareness
