2025's fashion manifesto: 'Recession-core'. This trend brings together simplicity and elegance, creating a new definition of luxury. This is not just a trend, it is a stance; It represents economic intelligence and purity of style. With its neutral tones, functional designs and avoidance of excessive consumption, 'Recession-core' seems to beat at the heart of the fashion world now and in the future. www.sarpjeans.com #SarpJeans #jeans #sustainablejeans #ecofashion #denim #denimproduction #denimproductionturkey #sustainable #sustainability #sustainabledenim #sustainablefashion #circularfashion #circulareconomy #circulardesign #circularjeans #circularproducts #fashion #organicproduction #organicjeans

WHY IS QUIET LUXURY A MORE SUSTAINABLE APPROACH TO LUXURY FASHION? Embracing quiet luxury implies a shift towards production and consumption habits that focuses both on sustainability and ethics. Simply put, a more conscious minimalist approach towards our wardrobe when it comes to fashion. The better quality of the materials and expertise used to produce premium pieces, combined with their minimalistic aesthetic, long-lasting durability and timelessness concept, makes it the perfect match to the core pillars of a more sustainable approach to fashion. The key point here, is that in my opinion, it is more about a lifestyle/mindset approach, than the consumption of the end product itself. What do you think would happen if we all started seeing clothes as a lifetime investment? would we value more each garment we purchase?would we think harder before making key purchases? would we value more the impact of each piece in our environment and people?

Are the challenges facing the Fashion Industry on the Shop floor or the Boardroom floor? Check out the most recent episode in our 'BeenThereDoneThat Where Next?' series here: https://lnkd.in/ekQPYeCb A pleasure to talk to Claire Kent, somebody who has certainly been there done that, when it comes to the business of fashion. Claire explains why Luxury companies seem to have a long life whereas their Fast Fashion neighbours, like the clothes they make are destined to end up buried in the ground. Not everyone can afford luxury but can any of us afford the alternative. Right now it seems as if quick profits are in vogue rather than long term growth. And the end of the month has become the trend rather than the end of the planet. At the end of the day having a sustainable business model is the first step to running a sustainable business. Focusing on Stakeholder Value rather than Shareholder Value is a good start. It's time to Slow down to go fast. #stakeholders #luxury #retail #fashion #wherenext
