The effectiveness of this approach lies in recognizing that returning an online purchase has more challenges than returning an item to an offline store. The waiting period during the return process can be particularly stressful for the customer. To decrease this stress, a recommended strategy is to instantly refund the customer as soon as they ship the product back. This seamless and painless process demonstrates your commitment to customer care. You can confirm the shipment either directly from the customer by obtaining a tracking number or through your shipping partner.
