Engineers Without Borders - Netherlands has won a grant of EUR 5,000 from Stamicarbon (MAIRE Group) to supply a new plastic recycling shredder for the Jos Green Centre project in Nigeria. With the efforts of Vinayak Krishnan, EWBNL team and Stamicarbon's vision for a more sustainable future, we will help a local community-driven startup to leverage new, more capable equipment. This will help kickstart their plastic recycling efforts in the region. The project is a positive step towards building a circular world as well as realizing our goal of supporting communities in under-resourced regions.
