It takes a special kind of person to a) be a nurse, b) in the CCU, c) on the night shift. 51 years doing this is remarkable. She served others so well, and her dedication is palpable.

Karen is a role model for the ones she is leaving behind. Her professionalism, demeanor & knowledge was such a credit to nursing. No matter how ill the patient was Karen "had it covered." Always a pleasure to work with her. I will miss her.
