👥 Customers: I don't care much about how novel your technology is, only if it can solve my problems. 👩💻 Engineers: I care more about how excellent the technology is than the problem it solves. 👨💼 CTO: I care about what technology will serve businesses and customers while keeping the system scalable. --- The perspectives may vary, but the company's ultimate goal should be to create solutions that matter, scale effectively, and drive progress. #tech #cto #softwareengineering #business

I've seen many teams relentlessly chase after top-tier engineers, believing their job is done once they've made the hire. However, they quickly learn a crucial lesson: no matter how exceptional your engineering team is, their true potential can only be realised if they're given a worthwhile and meaningful product to build. #product #vision

CEO and Co-founder @ Cormirus | Co-founder and Head of Strategy @ Brightbeam | AI, Innovation in Learning
“Simplicity is not the absence of clutter, that’s a consequence of simplicity. Simplicity is somehow essentially describing the purpose and place of an object and product. The absence of clutter is just a clutter-free product." – Jonathan Ive Experiments and MVPs really don't lend themselves well to the idea of simplicity. They can lead to tech debt, bloated architectures and unnecessary features. But, they do eventually lead you to all of the learning required to come to the most simple version of what you're trying to build. Apple products are kept under wraps. They're not released early and often (to the outside world). They do a lot of experiments with small closed groups inside the company. Getting the balance right between Reid Hoffman's idea of release your product early whilst your still embarrassed by it and launching the simplest product that you know works is a challenge. #product #management #innovation #experimentation #mvp

Giuliano Iacobelli from Claris is looking to hire a Senior Product Manager! There is simply too much friction reading a resume right now, so the best way for you to land interviews is by direct message on LinkedIn BUT LET ME BE CRYSTAL CLEAR. You still have to mass apply, because when companies ask you if you have applied yet in the portal and you say no then you have to start from scratch. It’s a lot of work I know and it sucks, but you got to do it. In 2025 mark my words at the rate AI is moving you will all by interviewing with holograms. I am not joking at all. There will be AI recruiting software that will sort, sift, screen (oh yes interview you), and schedule the second round interview. This is why I am telling everybody to land this job as soon as possible and to start a brand (more on that later), but for now you need to deliver a more impactful message to pitch your resume. Well… Rich what the heck am I supposed to say? That’s a fair question and I got you covered right here. I have a list of 33 openers you can use in Skool. See you in Skool! https://lnkd.in/gtQjCfUH Don’t be late to Skool! https://lnkd.in/gtQjCfUH PS Please RESHARE this post for all your colleagues still looking for a job. #productmanagement #productmanagementcareers #productmanagementjobs #speedtolead

Back End Developer @ SAP Labs | BTP | Building Security Product | DSA | Mentor software Engineers | Build Distributed Highly Scalable System | Product Manager | Learning new technology
After I moved on to PM role from Engineering, now I tell engineers to see things from customer point and not from Engineering point. Engineers like to build and solve tech geek problems, but if it don't solve real customers problems, it is going to be a big problem for the product. Build by Tony Fadell "I don't know why anyone needs the lemon," Tracy Beiers said. She was talking about a little animated emoji we'd just added. It would walk across your emails, doing things even modern emojis can't dream of. Ah, I thought. She wasn't an engineer. She didn't get it. So I rushed to explain: it was so innovative! Here's how we made it! So cool, right? Didn't she think so? "Yeah, it's cute, I guess," she said, and shrugged. "But I just want email that works. I don't care about the lemon. Nobody's going to care about the damn walking lemon." Huh. Everyone on the engineering team loved it. So I said, "Tell me more." I had never approached the product from her point of view. She forced me to take off my engineering, techno-savvy rose-colored glasses and look at what we were building from the perspective of a regular human being. #productmanager #softwareengineer #design
