Information is free and there are all kinds of resources online to learn how to do pretty much anything. Yet, we are here today and history is repeating itself. Time = money. Even if it’s free, we all have bills to pay. How do we make business successful in a world that leads us to believe everything is at our finger tips? I like the fact that there is both good & bad in absolutely everything - it's a conscious choice to how you channel it. ⚖ I like that the word is used in both CULTivate & CULTure. When a healthy vision, mission, intention & purpose is bred (like daily bread) & cared for & grown - it becomes the company's hidden brand. 😎 Latin 'religo' means 'good faith' & 'ritual.' Two #culture thoughts & two culture questions 💭Culture is the attitudes, actions, and reactions of a group 💭Culture is simply distilled belief ❓What is your culture telling you about what your group believes? ❓Is there a belief you need to change to change the culture?

Steven Bartlett - I love Sir Ian McKellen and this is a great video to encourage each of us in every team to go forward and explore our value. Yet I disagree with your closing statement that we MUST create it. I believe that all humans are born with natural gifts. To create is only one approach to uncover, enjoy and share that gift. If choosing creation, people should also watch out… In todays information age we risk creating what we think others want us to create. Yet that may lead us away from who we are or what we really want or what our customer wants. (See Ernesto Sirolli in his “Shut up and Listen” Ted talk). We are fast approaching the Imagination Age and may already be living in an era of Human Value. There will be many new approaches to exploring, finding, enjoying and sharing our uniquely human gifts. There is still plenty to find! Teams should encourage and learn from each other in this pursuit. Yes create. But also break apart things, research, connect dots that exist, experiment, follow others, and take time to uncover aspirations and fears. Team over individual is the The Future of Teamwork We need a mix of people with different approaches and gifts on every team. #TEAMLEAD3R #FOTW

Comparison is the thief of joy. We can try to escape comparison, but if we spend any length of time on the internet it is impossible. A wonderful way to combat that is to be someone who creates and to do so whenever you feel that pressure to compare. Do you see someone post about a promotion or life success? Create something that only you at that moment can do - it doesn't have to be art, it can be something for your job or your family. Comparing robs you of the value of your individuality and forces you to think that you have to be like others. I didn't write "Your Missing X-Factor" to be like Adam Grant or Simon Sinek - I wrote it because I wanted to be a part of changing corporate culture.
