I totally agree, separating the awesome, auxiliary, but not crucial systems from the critical infrastructure the classrooms, teachers and student need is the ultimate key. As a participant and observer of the Ed tech world is so interesting to see the rates of adoptions of all the great stuff out there. One things for sure we gotta support the kids and teachers.

Love the content, as always! I searched for this article I saw about a month ago, but I couldn't find it - it broke down the types of vendors that school districts are taking meetings with. The top categories? School safety and data protection. Learning apps were at the bottom of the list. All that to say, you are incredibly correct!

Too often, districts/schools are not using the tools (software) that they have purchased effectively. Providing just-in-time customer support, training and troubleshooting is critical to building long-term relationships that will renew.
