📣 Consultation on child maintenance payments has been extended to September. The government consultation, ‘Child Maintenance: Improving the collection and transfer of payments’, has been extended to 30th September 2024 to ensure there is suitable time for feedback from external organisations and individuals. Launched in May under the previous government, the consultation looks at ways the Child Maintenance Service can help reduce the number of children in poverty.
