This Friday!!! Courageous Caleb’s Blood Drive at Maple City Chapel, March 1st will be held at 2015 Lincolnway E. Goshen, IN 46526 from 2:30-6:30pm.
Caleb was diagnosed with Stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma in Feb 2017 at just 4 years old and this month marks his 7th year anniversary of his diagnosis.
Neuroblastoma is cancer of the nervous system. He battled with neuroblastoma 3 times. He relapsed in Dec 2018 and Dec 2019. Caleb is currently on maintenance treatment and gets routine scans every 6 months. He is doing well. He plays the trombone and he runs cross country and such a strong boy.
His courage, patience, and positive attitude in enduring countless medical treatments, some even painful, never cease to amaze his parents, Martin and Chika. When his mother was asked why blood drives are important to her, she mentioned “We can't even begin to count how many blood transfusions
Caleb has had since February 2017. That blood brings him to life, gives him energy, and helps his body to fight the side effects of cancer treatment. It is a way for us to give back to honor and support
Caleb and others who may need blood for their medical care.”
Walk-ins are welcome during the blood drive or an appointment can be made at https://lnkd.in/e6rhFc8T
