I fund the biotech woman.

What a lovely surprise to find out that The Toronto Star did a great write up of the MaRS Discovery District Health Summit women's health panel I was on along with Jocelyn Wessels, Ph.D. of Afynia Laboratories (IBNY 07), Danielle Brewin Graham and moderated Brittany Barreto, Ph.D. It was a packed audience and really proud to have been able to highlight the work we do in this space. Also it wouldn't be me if I didn't plug the fact that as always we need to increase funding into scientific research if we ever want to see more meaningful tools and technologies in women's health. https://lnkd.in/eQTP-KJp

Congratulations on such an impactful event and recognition from The Toronto Star. Your emphasis on increasing funding for scientific research is crucial. What steps do you think we can collectively take to advocate for more resources in women's health?
