Founder, Rising Father 🛡️ Guide For High Level Men Seeking A Breakthrough 🛡️ From Undisciplined Band Teacher To Inspiring Leader Of A Worldwide Men’s Movement.
We don't even have 18 years. The time we have to make an impact on our kids in the most powerful way is small. Our kids start to have memories ages 3-4. I was a MS and HS teacher for 14 years and around age 14-18 most of a kid's time is spent with girlfriends, boyfriends, friends, school activities... They find role models outside the family. That's about 10 years. 10 years to make a lasting impression. 10 years to cement memories of who you were. 10 years to write your legacy. 10 years to be remembered as an inspiration or a warning. Don't put off becoming your best another day. You only have a few left. Check out the testimonials and photos of life-changing transformations men in my program @menoffireprogram have made. If you need accountability, support, brotherhood, systems, and mentorship.... Free Training For Men: https://lnkd.in/eCSivCX9

I've been silent on social media about the current situation in Brockton Public Schools, but today, after listening to the inspiring words of Dr. Ilyasah Shabazz, daughter of Malcolm X, my spirit is stirred & feel compelled to speak up real quick.. What unfolds at Brockton High is disheartening, but let me make it clear—I stand 100% with our students. The media's portrayal of our youth as monsters is not just unfair; it's damaging. They're attempting to convince our kids that they don't deserve better, and that's unacceptable. Our black and brown kids are not just special; they are extraordinary and their real stories deserve to be heard. Imagine trying to cage these young spirits and being surprised when they break free—it's time to break free from the narrative that binds them. I have faith in this community. There are real people here who genuinely care about our kids' well-being, not just those trying to lead a movement for the sake of being seen or being the face. National Guard? Thats BS.. Our kids don't need a show of force; they need leaders who understand them and look like them, committed to the grind! I count my blessings daily to work with over 30 high school students through Friends And Mentors, Inc. who aspire to see better for themselves and their peers..We can't let the system let them slip away. The time for action is now. Mentorship Empowerment: Revitalize and strengthen our mentorship programs to provide consistent support for our students. Policy Advocacy: Rally for policy changes at the state and local levels to allocate funds specifically for mentorship/afterschool initiatives. Community Collaborations: Forge alliances with local businesses, community organizations, and leaders to provide additional resources and opportunities. Student-Centric Solutions: Establish forums or councils where students actively contribute to shaping policies that directly impact them. Dr. Shabazz invoked the African proverb, "If you want to move fast, move alone; if you want to move far, move together." I’m ready to scale the mountains of injustice and build a landscape where every child thrives, every dream flourishes, and every voice is heard. Let’s work

The Squire Program is Coming to Illinois August 3rd with @squireprogram.il @squireprogram I wish my Father took me to something like this when I was a teenager. I was never taught or shown, what it means to be a man. I was left to figure it out on my own, and it was not an easy road. It is a confusing and uncertain phase in a boy’s life. A boy rapidly approaching Manhood is a critical juncture in their lives. What do they need to know? How should they act? What mistakes should they avoid? What is expected of them? What does it mean to be a Man? There was no initiation or ritual for you to take your son (step son, nephew, brother, etc) into Manhood, until Now… Calling all awesome dads who are raising confident and capable young men! Our duty as fathers is to raise young men who will lead, serve, protect, provide and live by a strong set of core values. This is an invitation for you and your son to join us on August 3rd Hosted by @ma Click the link in my bio to register and learn more The Squire program is a 12 hour event for Dad’s and their son’s (ages 13-15), to journey through the rite of passage into Manhood, together. Together you and your son will work on/ learn leadership, teamwork, communication, and how to live according to a set of core values. This will consist of Physical, Mental, and Emotional challenges, to forge your son into a future leader. You will learn how to operate as a Role Model they will want to emulate, and they will learn to be a Squire (great follower to you), so they can become a Modern Day Knight. This will be an experience that you and your son will remember forever, building an even tighter bond as he moves into this critical juncture in life. Fathers, We Have Work to Do. *No Excuses* #squireprogram #fatherhood #manhood #fatherandson #riteofpassage #rolemodel #leadership #selfmastery #discipline

Customer Acceptance Team Lead @ Siemens Electrification and Automation - Working with Siemens customers within the field of electrical distribution to support accurate specification and on time delivery of switchgear.
🏫 For the past 10 months I’ve been a mentor with M10 MISSIONS, spending an hour and a half a month helping a year 10 student prepare themselves for life post-secondary education. I felt the advice I received at that age was limited, although I may have not been that receptive to it 🙉 , I wanted the opportunity to share some of my experiences to date with people who are now in the same position I was in 15 years ago - which is a scary thought. 📆 There are 10 sessions that take place on Zoom across the school year, each with a topic to help the boys think about and prepare for their future. The sessions are expertly led and kept on track by Stephen Riley It’s hard to sum up how I’ve felt during the experience: - Nervous, facing 20 teenage boys looking back at me on Zoom. - Challenged, having to draw on my experiences to support topics and offer balanced advice. - Rewarded, seeing that what we’ve discussed has sunk in and had an impact. I volunteered because I wanted to give something back, but I can’t help but feel it was equally as rewarding for me, pushing myself out of my comfort zone, answering questions and giving feedback to a group of not only students but other mentors. It definitely made me reflect some of the decisions I had made in my career so far and how I can draw on my own experiences better going forward. 👀 M10 are currently looking for additional mentors, and I would urge you to watch the video below and follow the link if it’s something you’re interested in - It won't be something you regret. https://lnkd.in/eTq3hzn2 #volunteering #devlopment https://lnkd.in/eWAQuu55
