Providing careers advice in schools is an effective way to give young people the language to describe their futures. It's especially important for those who don't have friends and families already working in the careers they want to access. However, as The Sutton Trust research below shows, not everyone is getting this advice. We know that the young people we work with have no shortage of ambition and talent - they want to get into top careers and fulfil their potential. That's why a significant part of what we do is around empowering young people to find the right path for them by providing opportunities to meet professionals and gain insight into a range of sectors and industries. #NationalCareersWeeek #SocialMobility
🚨 State school pupils are almost twice as likely to say that they had not taken part in any careers activities than private school pupils. As National Careers Week begins, read our research on the unequal access to quality careers guidance between schools ⬇️ https://buff.ly/3t1cbS5
