Great marketing communicates your promise. 💬 Great businesses deliver. ✔️ If you're like me, you spend way too much time overthinking branding and marketing. Logos, colors, fonts, websites, copy, offers, packages, products, social media, Facebook ads, billboards... 😅 It's almost enough to give me a nervous breakdown at times! But it's not that complicated. 🙃 This is the simple secret to brand building. Be clear on your promise to the market, and work to deliver on that promise. You don't need to overdeliver, and you don't need to underpromise. It's fair exchange. Offer the promise, and then deliver. Do this on repeat. ♻️ We promise to help you build a brand you're proud of by helping you get very clear on the offer, and telling that story through photographs and films.

Chapter 3 is up.
Master Service Advisor & Coach | Author of Five Star Service Advisor | Women in Trades Guest Instructor | 20 Years in Auto Industry
Chapter 3 After finishing the foundations program, I did a 180 and went into vehicle sales. I took a 1 week sales course and found a dealership who took a chance on a “green” sales person. One of the salesmen named Henry Lee was my “work dad” and mentor. I remember one talk he gave me… “Coralee, see the young, female, Business Manager? She used to be a Sales Person just like you. Now, she is sleeping with the General Manager and got a new job.” There was no further explanation or lesson but from his tone I took it as a warning to be careful, not as a way to “get ahead”. On a different note… I became a sales person to the First Nations in the community since I took the extra time to deliver their vehicles to their land. While I enjoyed helping customer find vehicles to fit their needs and budgets, it was a porridge is “too hot” scenario. I was not a fan or dressing up and wanted to talk with them about the long term maintenance of their vehicle which is not people’s first thought when purchasing a vehicle. Don’t worry Murdoch Maclennan, CTC is next. Thank you Tony Owens for the sharing memories theme.

In your opinion, what is the most important step in the sales process? For me, it was always FACT FINDING. I could never sell anything without knowing the customers hot / cold button, wants and needs. Sell the sizzle! Also, TRIAL CLOSE. After every single test drive. I asked one question. “Is this the vehicle you see yourself taking home “TODAY?” That one question told me everything and if the answer was anything but YES, I circled back to the customers answers I learned from fact finding to figure out why the answer is not a YES. I started on the line 18 years ago and I’ll never forget the sales process framed on the wall in the sales office at Menlo Mazda. From selling $15,000 Mazda 3’s to $500,000 Rolls Royce Phantoms, my process never changed. I don’t think it is emphasized enough today that the car is sold OUTSIDE. Though every step is important and not to be skipped, in your opinion, what is the most important step?

Area Business Leader Boston (Dermatology), Professor of Effective Selling at Bentley University (theprofessorofsales.com), Co- Author “How the Best get Better at Sales”, YardRink
Last night at Bentley University we had a great case study sales session utilizing Creonte Tire Ctr on how to approach customers effectively. The video highlighted the importance of role-playing, questioning, and listening to the customer to find out the best way to begin the sales call. We learned that the approach is the most critical part of any sales call and that the first few words you say can make or break the entire interaction. To ensure success, it's essential to practice each step in the sales process - plan, approach, dialogue, close, and follow up. Remember, if your first selling words aren't in line with what the customer is expecting, you may lose them. So, take the time to master the approach and reap the rewards of a successful sales call! #approach #salescalls #effectiveselling
