What does it take to achieve zero emissions? Collaboration 🙌. That was the message DFDS Belgium shared last Friday at their event about the Sweden-Belgium Green Corridor. This is also the core of what Smart Delta Resources stands for: working together towards a sustainable industry and shipping. It's fantastic to see how this company turns words into action. Congrats to all involved 💪 (VRT news (Dutch): https://lnkd.in/eCcr9Z6p) #GreenCorridor #AmmoniaFuel #CleanShipping #Logistics #Electromobility #DFDS

What does it take to reach near-zero emissions? The answer is: Collaboration! A big welcome to the Port of Antwerp-Bruges to the Sweden-Belgium Green Corridor 🙌 Last Friday, my colleague Jacob Andersen and I had the pleasure of co-hosting an event in Ghent with The Port of Gothenburg and North Sea Port to officially welcome Port of Antwerp-Bruges to the Sweden-Belgium Green Corridor. Together, we signed an addendum to the Memorandum of Understanding to celebrate our expanding collaboration and commitment to decarbonize the shipping industry. So, what exactly is the Sweden-Belgium Green Corridor? 🤔 ✅ Connects Scandinavia and Western Europe through near-zero emission transport ✅ By 2030, two ammonia-fuelled RoRo vessels will operate on the Sweden-Belgium routes ✅ The project is expected to reduce 328,000 tons of CO2e emissions per year ✅ Complemented by electric trucks and rail transport on land for a green journey  ✅ The ports will facilitate electric terminal operations and enable safe ammonia bunkering The expectations? To create the world's first green corridor for Ro-Ro cargo vessels running on near-zero emission ammonia fuel 🌍 #GreenCorridor #AmmoniaFuel #CleanShipping #Logistics #Electromobility #DFDS
