During the month of May (ALS Awareness Month), we logged 15,500 miles as part of our Slide Strides for ALS challenge! This is an incredible achievement that equates to a $35,000 donation from Slide to ALS TDI and the ALS Association! We are so grateful to all those who rallied along with us in this effort to raise awareness for ALS and stride in honor of those who have been impacted by this disease. About Slide it Forward and Slide Strides for ALS: Each quarter, Sliders around the country volunteer with employee-nominated charities through our Slide It Forward program. This quarter, our Slide It Forward event was a challenge called Slide Strides for ALS where participants committed to stride (walk/run/hike) a collective 10,000 miles to raise Awareness for ALS. I truly enjoyed being a part of this challenge. Great idea for an even better cause and the initial goal was blown out of the water so quickly that it had to be increased 👏🏼 WHAT A GREAT SHOW OF SUPPORT BY ALL WHO PARTICIPATED! I look forward to next quarters “Slide it forward” challenge!
