Working with CEOs, Owners, CROs and CSOs to increase sales performance. | A process-driven approach to sales that improves win rates, margins, forecasting & more
𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝘀. 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹. Every challenge in sales can be seen as “technical” or “conceptual” Allow me to explain: – Technical challenges revolve around understanding what to do; finding the correct words to say or actions to take in specific situations. – Conceptual challenges, on the other hand, delve into your willingness to execute those actions or words with conviction, dedication, and consistency. Many salespeople and sales managers tend to believe that the solutions to their challenges are found in acquiring more and better sales techniques. However, there's a crucial catch – what happens when you say the right words, or perform the right actions - without genuine conviction? People can sense it, and it doesn’t work. Regardless of how many sales techniques you master, their effectiveness hinges entirely on your belief in them . . . and more importantly - in yourself. You can never surpass the limits of your own self-concept. Or as David Sandler said – “You can perform in your roles only in a manner that is consistent with how you see yourself conceptually” Your self-concept is a reflection of how you perceive yourself: If you don't invest as much effort in cultivating your self-concept as you do in enhancing your sales skills, a large proportion of your sales effort will yield disappointing results. You can determine who you need to be to attain your goals, and actively mold yourself into that person. Happy selling #sales #salesdevelopment #salesmanagement

Have you ever found yourself wondering why your sales team consistently struggles to close deals? Is it the product, the methodology, or perhaps the pitch? It's none of these. The answer is frighteningly simple: follow-up. Sales follow-up is an art. One that requires thoughtful planning, consistency, and understanding buyer psychology. Sales leaders, it's time to take a step back and rethink this often-overlooked part of your process. 1. Timing is of the essence - Understand your prospect's buying cycle and align your follow-ups accordingly. 2. Be persistent but not annoying - Too many emails can annoy a prospect, but too few can let them forget you. 3. Provide value at every interaction - Share insightful articles, relevant research reports, or case studies with every follow-up. Remember, in sales, winning isn't just about having a great product or service; it's also about how effectively you can nurture potential leads and convert them into loyal customers. Are you ready to master the art of the follow-up?

Giving sales advice is easy. Applying it is very difficult. I see sales “gurus” on LinkedIn, Youtube and blogs with mind-blowing advice like: “Build value!” “Sell the vision!” “Avoid a pricing war!” A sales cycle is never a perfect circle. And it shouldn’t be. Every customer buys differently and will have different challenges. If you’re an AE, you’re going to meet sales leaders, corporate trainers and coaches who will pepper you with advice. I’m sure most of it is great advice, but remember that no one has a clearer idea of the deal than you. Listen to the advice to gain perspective, but you ultimately decide how best to execute on a deal. Now go out there and don't take no for an answer! /s #sales
