Your growth depends on following up Following up is the name of the business game. The most important thing you'll do in your business is sales. I didn't really understand that when I worked as an engineer. But as I watched my back account dwindle as a business owner in 2016, I learned quick that I had to sell. It's the most important thing you need to grow. But not only for business owners. You want a new position at work: you have to sell. You want to convince your colleagues to try a different approach: sell. But sales does not have to be sleazy. It's all about learning to persuade. Full persuasion does not happen on the first contact. You have to follow up and be persistent. Trust is only built with time. Just like anything in life, it's only consistency that will get you there. Develop a system that allows you to consistently follow up on what you're striving for. Make sure you are listening and providing value along the way. Sales is not just about outreach. It's about your follow up. Your growth depends on it. Set a reminder. Be consistent. Follow up today.
