Why having many followers on social media doesnt translate to sales Have you ever wondered why a sizable following doesn't always translate into increased sales? Let's delve into the key nuances that bridge the gap between followers and actual conversions. **Beyond Numbers:** It's not just about the sheer volume of followers. While having a robust following is great, the real magic lies in transforming that interest into tangible results. **Engagement That Counts:** Meaningful engagement matters more than a passive scroll. We're talking about sparking conversations, igniting curiosity, and genuinely connecting with your audience. **Understanding Needs:** Followers may love your content, but do they perceive your offerings as solutions to their needs? It's about showcasing the value you bring and aligning it with what they seek. **Trust Builds Bridges:** Trust is the cornerstone. It's not instant; it's nurtured over time. It's about consistency, reliability, and being there when your followers need you. So, here's the blueprint to turn followers into loyal customers: **Humanize Your Brand:** Share stories, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and user-generated content. Make your brand relatable and personable. **Educate and Entice:** Show, don't just tell. Highlight how your products or services solve problems. Create captivating content that educates and excites. **Seamless Call-to-Action:** Guide your followers. Don't leave them hanging—direct them towards the next step, whether it's a sign-up, a trial, or a purchase. **Authentic Conversations:** Engage authentically. Respond to comments, address concerns, and show genuine interest in your audience's thoughts. **Social Proof:** Share success stories, testimonials, or case studies. Real-life examples build trust and credibility. Let's make it happen together! Share in the comments how you've successfully converted followers into customers or your strategies for doing so. Your insights could be a game-changer for someone looking to ace their sales game!

When posting on socials, you're using a rented engagement channel. You don't own your audience, they do. You need to take more control and own your customer engagement. Here's a little view into what I mean. This time last year, I went viral on X. > 8m views, 4K new followers overnight, requests for interviews from Bloomberg and Politico. It was absolutely wild, I’m not sure I recommend it. So I started to post a bit more there, but eventually tailed off. The subject of my virility didn’t match the brand I was trying to build. You know what happened? Future posts of mine barely got any views, let alone engagement. I had been downgraded, the algorithm doesn’t reward infrequent posters. And this is precisely the problem with social media. You don’t own your audience. It’s a rented channel whose traffic and engagement is beholden to the whims of some lines of code. If you’re trying to build a relationship with your customer, you NEED to be investing and putting time into owned channels. Platforms like Discord, Slack, MAGNETIQ, Inc. ⚡️. Digital homes where you control the audience and have a place to share the best of your brand with your most avid customers. It will probably start small, but investing in the growth of an owned channel will strip away the dependency on rented channels, boosting your brand and retention. The internet was built to allow for all sorts of communication and commerce. But it’s devolved into 10 or 12 platforms. It’s time to take back some agency and own your relationships!

When listening to braggadocio about huge amounts of traffic, big email lists, and tons of social followers.... ♾ Simple to fall for the illusion that more is more! Truth is, big is usually a past moment and those HUGE numbers don't reflect who is paying attention now. Understand that I have built an email list with 10 million, and generated over 60 million monthly visitors to a site…back in the day. The key is, back in the day; today with the impact of social platforms, the keys are responsiveness and conversion - not big numbers. I’m seeing more success with focused, “smaller” audiences, where people actually know like and trust the business they are visiting. Segment, segment, segment… ✅ if you have traffic, watch where they enter your site. Is it search, links, social media, email visitors, where are they coming from? ✅ How and when do you introduce them to your product or service? ✅ Where do you lose them? ✅ Which traffic converts better so you can stop doing so much and focus on what works? Quality is not easy, which is why most people focus on quantity. Quality will help you thrive. Quantity is an old illusion that we need to wipe from our minds. Do more with less. Focus on being essential to half, a quarter, or 10% of that traffic. Considering 20-50% of those visitors are either bots or people with the attention of a bot, keep it real. Find the 20% who know why they are there, and follow up with the remaining portion who don't know over time. It's easy to get lost in big number braggadocio and forget to make it personal, knowing who your ideal customers - ICs - are. Find out how to matter to your ICs, and leave the big numbers out of it. Convert 1-2%, that's average. 5-10%, getting good. 10-30%, now it's flowing. Be essential to the few and stop pretending the big numbers define your business. That's where the profits are hiding now, right in front of your eyes. 👀

Hey there, savvy social media folks! 👋 I'm about to dish out some top-level tips that I share with my team for driving leads using social media along with social selling. 💰🔥 First things first, let’s talk about the importance of having a solid social media strategy in place. You can’t just throw up a few posts here and there, then expect results. You need to have a clear plan of action, aka a strategy, to drive those leads. Here are my top-level tips for driving leads using social media: 1️⃣ Know your audience: You need to understand who your target audience is, what they like, what they don’t like, plus what they’re looking for. This will help you tailor your content to their needs along with interests, which will increase the chances of them becoming leads. 2️⃣ Use eye-catching visuals: People are more likely to engage with content that has visually appealing images or videos. Make sure your social media posts are filled with high-quality visuals that grab attention plus make your brand stand out. 3️⃣ Keep it concise: People are busy, they don’t have time to read lengthy posts. Keep your social media content short along with sweet, make sure it’s easy to understand. This will increase the chances of your content being shared and going viral. 4️⃣ Engage with your followers: Social media is a two-way conversation, so make sure you’re engaging with your followers. Respond to comments, answer questions, show them that you care. Today, social media is essential for businesses, but managing an account can be time-consuming and overwhelming. I assist busy business owners so they can devote more time to growing their companies/businesses.
Large follower counts doesn’t = SALES In the world of Instagram, having tons of followers and likes might seem crucial, but there's more to the story. The real key to success? It's all about engaging with your audience and making them feel valued. Imagine your feed as a bustling marketplace. Likes are like passersby, briefly glancing at your offerings but never stepping inside. Engagement, on the other hand, invites them in, sparks conversation, and builds trust. 💡 Why Interaction Matters: Think of your Instagram like a friendly chat – you want to keep it going and make people feel welcome. When you chat with your followers, they trust you more and are more likely to buy from you. 💬 How to Interact and Connect: 1. Say Hi to New Followers: Give them a warm welcome! Send a friendly message thanking them for following you. 2. Answer Comments and Messages: Don’t leave people hanging. Reply promptly and talk to them like you would with a friend. 3. Start Conversations: Reach out to people who engage with your posts. It shows you care about them. 4. Talk to Everyone: Even if someone hasn’t spoken up, shoot them a message. They might just need a little nudge to join the conversation. 🛒 Turning Chats into Sales: So, how do you convert these conversations into sales? 1. Be Trustworthy: Share valuable content and engage honestly with your audience. 2. Provide Value: Share discounts, tips, or content your followers will appreciate. 3. Call to Action: Prompt people to take action, like visiting your website or messaging you for more info. 4. Keep the Conversation Going: Don’t forget to follow up with interested people. They might just need a little extra encouragement to become a customer. Remember, it's not just about numbers – it's about making meaningful connections. By engaging with your followers, you'll not only increase sales but also build a loyal community. Ready to give it a try? Let's chat, connect, and sell together!
