The Walt Disney Company has 'magical' places and Universal Parks promise "Fun So Hard" (which is... well, odd), but what can they teach Margarita-swilling Kung-fu Panda Newfie visitors about the mundane business of museums and such? One can take courses in such things from the Disney and Universal masters, and the annual IAAPA conference, https://lnkd.in/e_A-rXxa, in Orlando (where else?), offers wisdom wholesale and on-site. But why accept considered professional guidance when mere anecdote from the sweaty amd footsore will do? (At roughly 20,000 steps per day in 85F degrees, that's no phony Huey, Dewey, or Louie, my friends.) Herewith a quartet of observations from six days and five nights of endless lineups, heaving rides, belly laughs, and foot-long churros. 1. There's no tech like park tech. Museums that wish to emphasize high-tech interactives or base key experiences on them had better be darn sure that they work, can be maintained and updated with minimal visitor impact, and serve the desired audiences. 2. Quantity can choke quality. Move folks quickly, with good signs, great staff, and amenable surroundings. No tacked up notices here, printed on your basement dot matrix, nor rumpled personnel, or non-functioning kiosks. Disney was better here than Universal, but both were consistently, shockingly excellent. 3. Keep the merchandise on brand, on point, and in your face. Or, in other words, all experiences empty into gift shops, and gift shop swag is always on target. If there are rubber dinosaurs afoot, you can be sure they are THE rubber critters reflected in the ride, experience, movie, or show. Astonishing. 4. Finally, environmental consciousness ain't what these places are about. With the notable and (very) partial exception of Epcot, every other place could use refillable bottle stations, clear recycling signage, and demonstrable commitments that we're not all amusing ourselves to death. Here, as in other areas, museums and cultural venues have loads to teach the big theme parks. Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will get to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure before it opens to the public. The Passholder Buzz has confirmed that “Passholder previews will take place at Magic Kingdom park on June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18 and 20.” Park Reservations & Virtual Queue Required 
A virtual queue will be in place for Annual Passholder previews of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Here’s how it works! • First, make a park reservation to Magic Kingdom park on a preview date to have the opportunity to join the 7:00 AM virtual queue for that day. Or, you can make a park reservation to any theme park on a preview date to have the opportunity to join the 1:00 PM virtual queue. • On the date of your reservation, request to join the virtual queue by using the My Disney Experience app. There will be 2 opportunities to join each day of previews. ◦ The 7:00 AM virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a park reservation to Magic Kingdom park for that day. ◦ The 1:00 PM virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a park reservation to any theme park for that day. Along with the Disneyland ticket, you likewise require a safe location to keep cash or the Disneyland Merchandise Card. A wallet or bag is not really useful at Disneyland. These can be bought at Disneyland, and they are really economical. You need to consider what a brand-new Disneyland ticket will cost if you believe you may not desire to invest a little bit of cash on the FastPass holder. You will not be permitted to get in the park the next day without buying a brand-new ticket if you lose your Disneyland ticket. When you take a look at the little expense of the Disneyland FastPass holder, you will see that it is well worth it.

I try to look around and find all opinions on new projects - especially when the views are heavily leaning one way (all positive, or all negative). And sometimes, you come across things like this, which almost feel like bait. (...although I guess I took it...) "The $2.1 Billion Disney Theme Park Gamble" ...maybe its me, but I believe that most of the Fantasy Springs reviews are positive not due to pressure to be positive but because the expansion is actually good. And I feel like this article earned a solid “huh”? From me. Yes, there could be criticism of Fantasy Springs for various reasons, but I am not sure “gamble” is the word they’re looking for here. In a way its the opposite of a gamble, they played it safe introducing Fantasyland into both parks. That could be a valid criticism - maybe the wonky way its being operated could be a valid criticism. But I feel like "In fact it could become one of the most expensive mistakes ever made in a Disney park." is just trolling.
